You're opening your hood to air up your tires?

Yeah. My compressor attaches directly to the battery using clamps.

I also disconnected the wire going to the hood latch but the alert keeps appearing

I wonder if the Canadian app is trash or having the 6MT removes all useful features of the app. I have a 2020 TRD Sport and the all the app does is tell me odometer reading and fuel level. The manual trans doesn’t even have tire pressure sensors. The app really is useless honestly.

Supposedly you can tell Toyota to turn off all reporting.

    Sometimes it is humorous.

This is a Texas county road. Few low water crossings, but for the life of me can not figure out "harsh cornering".

It's a sandy loam dirt road, covered 10 miles in 44 minutes. Speed demons! Not exactly fast driving. I suspect wheel slippage it triggered the reading.

Currently at the shop for dent less paint repair. I keep getting notified of "unlocked vehicle". I'm so OCD I keep wanting to lock my doors!

    Okay, fair enough.
I'll try it when I leave work tomorrow. Because today in fact, it sat on my desk with the spinning wheel for a full 3 minutes before confirming my vehicle had indeed started.

nah, it loves to give “harsh cornerings”. I think anything less than a 130 degree angle it sees as harsh lol

    Check build thread!
It's this. Was doing some work around the farm in some heavy mud(up to the hubs) and was revving it while getting it through the mud. Did maybe 10km in 3 hours. 153 harsh cornerings.

I think it's the 6MT. My version of the app has similarly basic functionality, and I'm in the Midwest USA, with a 21 TRD Sport manual. I see a fuel gauge and the odometer, and in the garage I can see the tire pressure. Beyond that it's just links to web versions of the manual, services agreements, and privacy policy agreements. My guess is there's just certain things they don't enable for the manual. I can see why they wouldn't enable remote start for manuals, but remote unlock is disappointing.

On the other hand, the app doesn't have any of that driving critique nonsense, and Toyota can get fucked if they think I care.

While in fob range, try pushing the lock button three times, holding it down for five seconds on the third push.
Tried twice today...no starting. Two things I HATE about my new truck: more HP than torque and that fucking POS app!:annoyed:

MIne has worked just fine since day one. I suspect that the app is fine and the operator is the problem.

That was uncalled for. I didn't attack you, only the app. Unless your last name is Toyota?

Canada and MT is a double-whammy. We'd have fewer features up here anyway and then MT takes away the rest.

That’s what I’ve used this for on mine. Also, you can see that it has moved from the spot that you parked it when you left it for service and that it has moved into the shop.

Supercharger really helps with keeping that score low.
