I'll bet a beer he used the money from the first purchasers to make those kits he sent out to the influencers. And another beer they didn't pay for the kits.

Unfortunately the cost has been a huge loss of respect from me and I am sure others, but they are gambling that the influencers will make up for that.

I have not received a shipping notification (or any communication from them at all) and I'm frustrated as well. They haven't met the estimated ship dates in any of their email updates, and aren't forthcoming with updates on the additional delays.

I'll be very disappointed if that happens. Not angry, disappointed.

Yeah I commented on dirthead Dave's post about the Alvarado 4runner and guys were sticking up for MC guess it's working. Too bad the damn emails have a ND clause or else those receipts would show a lot more

I'm amazed that the people that paid are scared of a non disclosure clause in a marketing email. That line has very little legal value.

Well I don't want the potential legal hassle even if i were in favor. Don't want to deal with lawyers and all that mess.

Hopefully everyone paid with a credit card and is familiar with their chargeback policies

If you haven't received product I'm sure there is some sort of consumer protection

Correct, it's just more of a process. If you're within the 60 day window you can file it online and it's pretty much automatic. Beyond the 60-day you have to send (by mail) a letter explaining the situation. At least that's how it is with CitiBank. But if you haven't received what you paid for and the vendor doesn't contest your dispute, you'll get your money back.

It seems that it used to be that a company would do a pre-authorization charge and not the actual charge until the item is ready to ship. Wonder what happened to that practice.
