Hi everyone,

New member from southern CA. Owner of a 07 DC TRD OR and a 21 DC TRD OR 4x4. I got the 21 in March, at the beginning of the price increase. Seeing all the price right now, I'm glad I got it right before the price go crazy.

Not sure what kind of mod I'll be doing for the 21 yet. But for sure I'll do something with it. I didn't do much for my 07 besides a leveling kit and tires.

A tank of gas and your favorite off-roading/camping/hiking area is really all you need. Our trucks do most of what we want them to. When your truck can’t, it’s time to mod.

Welcome to TW! I'd check the price on the 21 if you aren't too attached to it... If someone is willing to give you a few grand more than you paid that's a deal!

 

I'm happy w/ my 21. If I let go of my 21 for a higher price, I would have to buy another one and the price right now is high. So I won't benefit out of it. Even if they offer high for my 07, I still wont sell it.

 

Awesome! I was offered $27k for my 16 with 105k at the dealer when we bought my wife's 4Runner. Went back for an oil change and they upped it to $28k.

Tempting but I traded negative equity when I got the truck, no sense in taking it and then needing a new vehicle at a higher price with more negative lol.

Don't be like me an put 25k miles on a truck in less than a year

 

I’ve got 9k since 1/24/21. I need some performance mods but I love this thing.

 

Yea they can drive like boats at times.

I'd never get my investment out of this truck if I sold it lol. Lift, 4Runner TRD Pro wheels + 32s, Softopper, running boards, then thousands of miles of RnD for tunes. I intend on running this thing into the dirt when it finally dies with 600k miles on it haha

 

Lol, actually I trade my 17 TRD sport for the 21 TRD or 4x4. I only do it b/c I wanted to get a 4x4 that's all. Oh, and I super hated the scoop on the sport. It looks nice looking from the outside, but from the driver seat, I just hate it.

 

I got a brand new 2.7 PreRunner in ‘01. It’s collecting dust and rust at my parents’ place but it’s going to be a trail beast when I’ve got my new job. My ‘21 is my daily driver/trail rig for the next couple of years and when it’s paid off it will be drug through trees and full of deer blood.
