I suppose I could have put on some bug spray. I wasn't out of the car for too long so I didn't bother.

Yeah, fire is the only thing I've found to effectively kill ticks. Sometimes I wonder if that even works.

I've found several ticks on me recentily.

Also, in the market for a set of shackles and another tow strap(had a smity built) shackle suggustions? I've debated soft ones but I'm leaning towards at least 1 hard one. My stap wasn't bad I just did a lot of towing this winter and pulling a tractor last night put a hole in it when the person watching the strap let it slide onto a bolt..

I have this strap as a beater strap https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008N8ILQG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title (moving trees and logs, getting muddy etc. Nice and affordable and holds up well. Then this one strictly for recoveries https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07593BS2G?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
(Haven't actually used it but it has good reviews)

Having 1-2 metal ones is good in addition to soft shackles

I have one soft and 4-5 regular shackles. I agree with @Shellshock that it's good to have both. I prefer the soft shackle, but it doesn't always work.

That's hot! Long travel with Fox Reservoir shocks! Nice!

I was looking at sliders from them and would have some good communication then go for a few weeks without hearing anything.. Potentially would try again for a front bumper, but ended up with sliders from caliraised.

Long shot question but does anyone know of a good alignment shop in Madison that knows SPC upper control arms?

Curious does anyone here have the 4x Innovations bolt-on sliders installed that can take a photo showing how far they stick out? Like for example if your head/camera was down by the front tire and you look towards the rear of the truck. I haven't found a photo anywhere online to show this. I believe the 4xI sliders are 10 degree so flatter than other brands like BAMF/CaliRaised/etc that are usually more like 20 degree.

From 4X innovations website. They do appear to have a slightly smaller upward angle

we do, the Madison West shop had no issue doing the allignment on my truck with a leveling kit and putting larger tires on.
@theJCKRBBT apparently was told that they don't touch modified trucks and that the tires I got wouldn't fit... We have the same wheel/tire size combo on off roads.

Don't know how well they would do UCA's but like I said they had no issues with my truck and did a good job

Firestone did my truck no problem.

They fucked me over by splitting my CV boot. They replaced it but still annoying.

Firestones lifetime alignment is good nationwide. Just tell them what specs you want and they'll go for it. Usually set your camber and toe really close to zero, maybe toe in just a hair, and then set your caster between two and four if you're running 33s or bigger
