    just for the record :typing:

the 650L is Not an e start version of the 650R

those two bikes have little to nothing in common...

its the 600R that has a lot on common with the 650L

Main issue I would have with buying a Guzzi is the sorely limited dealer network in the US. There WAS a dealer only about a mile from my house for a while. Primarily it's a European auto place, high end restorations of Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, etc. The owners somehow had gotten a very old Guzzi they wanted to restore and needed a lot of parts and when they couldn't find a nearby dealer they became one in order to get parts. If I recall that only lasted about 2-3 years because they became pressured to next take on Piaggio scooters as well and they just didn't have the floor space or desire to add that so sadly they are no longer a Guzzi dealer.

I always thought the Norge was a gorgeous bike but after owning a Cagiva Allazura Super Sport back in the late 80's I think my time with Italian bikes is about a "one and done" deal.

The correct number of bikes one should own is x+1 where x = the number of bikes currently owned. It's basic math really. :bikewheelie:

@uhplifted out riding Ortega Hwy here in SoCal. Bum shoulder makes riding a little difficult for me still so I have to live vicariously through him.

I call the Yamaha XT250 the Grom for big kids haha everyone hates on it for being underpowered or a beginner/wife bike but (to me) it's more fun than the Grom in every way! It's an off-road scooter ha.

The xt225 I had was fun but it wasn’t a grom. I do want a fast supermoto next though.

I want a Yamaha tw 200, kind of a grom for the 2 tracks. Slow and durable. I'm 61 and have no business riding a fast dirt bike anymore but I still like to trail ride. My reaction times just aren't what they used to be. We have some beautiful trails here in Michigan and I'm not ready to quit yet. Plus a little tdub will fit in the back of the taco. The thing has been around forever and there's tons of stuff on the aftermarket for them.

I dont know, but no time soon is my guess... there are a few other things I would upgrade on this thing before changing the wheel/tire setup

a skid plate, some engine management and a seat are at the top of the list currently

I'm sitting on the side of the freeway broke down with my BMW. Something crapped out in the electrical, started running rough and I looked down and had no speedo, no tach, and no lights of any kind. Alternator might have crapped out. Its like somebody just pulled the plug. No hazards either so the battery is dead. Only tow company I could get with a flatbed said 2 hours, so here I sit and wait..............
