I have always wondered that it couldn't have been just harbor freight jack stands that have the weld problems. I mean they just go to a company that makes the tool and asks them to make one for HF, like the snap on jack and the HF jack. Both are made in the same factory. So I just wonder what other brands of jack stands might have the same weakness.

 

But don't u do that consensually but stepping in that van?

Speaking of Harbor Fright. I still have E-sockets that are going strong. The torques and Allens are about half replaced. The most popular sizes. Hell, at that even the Snap-on lasted about the same before breaking.

i years ago did have a harbor freight press. got my job done.....and broke halfway through the 2nd. not my fist choice in tools but they can get it done.

You have to physically say that you consent to getting reamed by them before you do, otherwise they slammed you without consent.
