Just get the real thing, totally worth it! They really don't leak, if you get some decent ones, and check the bolts evrey oil change or so. Discount tire even balanced mine.

Most beadlocks are not DOT approved. More are becoming available though that have approval.

 

I'm only aware of the ones by Hutchinson.
What are the others?

And this is why headlocks are illegal, not due to safety regs. So if the cops are looking at that, then most the mods we do aren't DOT approved.

I still say get headlocks lol!!

 

That's a first for me as well. Sounds like that particular LEO just got sick of using the "your license plate light is out" excuse. lol
