They're tow mirrors but not flipped up which is a pretty rare sight.

Someone should put a set on a Tacoma and see if they can fly. I don't care if they're flipped up or not - mirrors hanging 3'+ off the side of any vehicle are tow mirrors in my book.

Anyone in the Denver area installed a prinsu on an access cab before? Thinking about buying one & wouldn't mind having someone help out who has done it before.

    Would pay in beer

I just installed mine. I cannot physically help, but I can recommend dropping your headliner and moving your airbags out of the way before drilling. Also make sure they sent you all the hardware, I was short two rivnuts and two spacers, which made for a fun panic run around while I watched a storm rolling in. I ultimately had to thru-bolt the last two connections - not happy with Prinsu about that.

Sherpa Equipment Co. is a local company with a similar design. The owners are on here occasionally as well..... maybe look into them

I've done it on mine as well which is a 2nd gen if that matters. I can throw in some tips. Though I didn't remove the headliner, it is safer. I just went slow with a small bit first as a pilot hole, then jumped up to the correct size and didn't have an issue with hitting any of the airbags. Measure 5 times, then measure again so you don't get a lopsided rack. I marked the holes and set the rack on to make sure it was straight. I used a drill bit large enough to make a hole in the weather stripping so you can still use it. It only attaches in the back and front so if you just fully cut it, you'll have to glue it back. If I remember right, there is a metal strip that runs through the rubber, I think I cut it with wire cutters, then used the bit to drill the hole. I put RTV sealer inside the rivnut holes and then around the bolts once attached just to be safe.

They need to come out with the Bravo for the 3rd Gen AC, the Alpha is just too much stuff and a bit pricey.
