About 14 months ago I had a conversation with a city official who said that all capitol improvements for calendar year 2021 are postponed even if approved because at that point there was no sales tax revenue… I can see how govt bonds could be junk.

The USAA Gov't Securities Fund looks pretty safe, compared to most.

And there's the USAA Short Term Bond Fund, Ultra Short Term Bond Fund, or the Money Market
    Fund.

    All conservative in ratings.

.gov securities are literally in the thick of this mess. At the top end. That's the whole reverse repo problem we're having right now.

Your safest bet would be to take everything out and put it into leveraged funds betting on market crash. I'm not brave enough to do that though even though I believe it's true lol

    Concur.

The ultra-short bond fund looks appealing:

4% of $30m of my GME winnings is my stimulus check. I can probably live on $1.2m a year.

I know, I'm just blowing off steam from trying to figure it all out earlier today.

I probably need to hire my neighbor, since he does that sort of thing for a living. He's one of the few non-govie types.

Clutch your GME shares to your chest, and then just laugh when your $600k goes bust and you're holding a couple million next to your shirt.

Maybe that 600k has exposure to 2 shares worth of GME, and you’ll be just fine

Tell you what, if GME hits $100k a share, I'll pay for a year of avgas for your new bell helicopter.
