Hello everyone. Quick question. I already have a 2.5 inch lift on spacers but I want to ditch those and do it the right way... Thinking of getting Bilstein 5100s with OMEs but I keep hearing about all the sag with these.... Was then going to do the 5100s on top notch with factory coils but then I heard it's only 2 inch lift.... What are all the other options I have that will give me a true 2.5 inch lift without the sag problem? Appreciate everyone's help. Thank you.

P.s... I really don't have a problem with the 2.5 inch spacer lift it rides good but I've heard stuff can break if I hit a pothole or something and that has me worried...

I've been studying that Eibach lift myself. But that shock shaft for the front is exposed to the elements. I don't know how long it would last up here in Maryland/Northeast area with all of the calcium chloride/brine and salt that is dumped on the roads during the winter. Don't they make a boot for it????

If you're happy with the spacer lift just leave it on.

I really like my Eibach kit. It gave the look I wanted and also was a huge upgrade over stock suspension for a relatively low price - I think I paid $750 from Wheeler's, including preassembled coilovers and an AAL.

The problem with the spacer lift is that your bump stop might be require more travel to actually work as a bumb stop than your coil overs will compress. That creates the problem of your shock bottoming out and then that annoying little stem taking the rest of the impact. If you space your bump stop right then you won’t have to worry about the bottom out, but then it is what’s limiting your travel.

I have a 2.25 inch spacer lift and I had the same issue but I solved it with just a better bump stop. At least I think I solved it, havent bottomed out off roading yet :fingerscrossed:

I'm thinking about doing this as well.... If anything breaks Toyota of Orange will have to fix it under warranty...

Seriously, the only reason to move away from it especially if this is just a street truck is ride quality and performance. If you're happy with those aspects don't worry about it. You're pretty unlikely to actually bottom out just hitting a pothole or something so it's fine. You could space your bumpstops for some peace of mind but I really wouldn't worry about it.
