@Zach95 the flat bed you made is awesome. I saw where you are also a machinist. We do a little machining in here :D

You run CNC or manual stuff?

My phone must have not been centered on the charger. 18% at 6:15 in the AM isn't a good start.

Morning folks, look what arrived! The trouble parts already were hand deburred using a burr whip, but the production manager and I still want to try this out.
We both agreed, first the coffee, then the bad idea!

It’s one thing to see photos of it, it’s another to hold it. I told the production manager that he’s in for a forearm workout, and that I hope he ate his wheaties this morning!

Wife and daughter went to pick up Cole from John's yesterday afternoon, I figured they'd be gone for a little bit. They came home with a detour to TSC and had a 12' pool with them. Guess that means I'll get a couple scoops of sand on my way home and put that up............Happy Father's Day dad, we got you a pool o_O

I know why they went to TSC, Cole wanted to get me a Red Ryder BB gun so he and I can shoot in the back yard.

Our contract ran out with the realtor a couple months ago, that's why I started redoing the outside of the store. Spruce up the place before relisting, wife has been wanting a pergola for a while. I caved. The pool, she grew up with one and talks about them all the time. John, Cole's friend, his family moved here a couple years ago from Boston and they just happened to move into my wife's old house up the street that has an inground pool. I can't stand pools, too much work along with everything else we have going on but happy wife, happy life :D

    I completely understand! :fistbump:

That's one of the reasons I'm not saying a word about what she's spending on this Salt Lake City adventure.

I would guess that your son is as mature or more than most boys 15 yrs. I'd upgrade to the American Classic bb/pellet rifle. Mine just quit working after near 30 years of use.
Sorry but my next post is gonna be a short rant...regarding machinist training. :anonymous:

He bought a Red Ryder with some of his birthday money back in March, he has another BB gun that is a pump. We get out there and shoot and I made the comment about getting another Red Ryder so we could compete, I was kinda joking but he told momma he wanted to get me one for Father's Day. She told me and ask if I was serious. We have a house behind us and to our left so our shooting in the back yard is limited. I may load them all up and shoot .22's Sunday where we hunt

Soooooo, some have a certain quality or ability, common sense perhaps.
So I was trimming down this SS seamless tube and thought...ya know no one ever taught me to trim this from the inside cutting out. See some people could grasp that concept others not so much. This tube may have had the structural integrity to trim from the outside in but why??20210616_075620.jpg

Smart, it leaves less of a burr on the inside if you start there, especially SS
