Bed mat for $80

well I was tired of stuff sliding around and scooped one of these. Now I’m nervous it’s gonna get stolen. Lol does that happen ever?

 

Most taco owners aren’t douche bags. If you had let’s say a Colorado, id chain it, nail it, and glue it

 

Is this a thing now? I am seeing more of these questions about securing an $80 piece of rubber.

I am more concerned about a smash and grab by an opportunist than I am about my bed mat. No one is going to touch it. Leave it as is and don't think about it.

 

People have gotten them stolen before.

 

Not an issue if you have a camper shell.

. crime level in area

. where truck is parked

. demand for rubber

. number of pawn shops in area

. how shitty the mat looks

i recommend spilling some paint on it.

The first thread (bed mat mod) I thought was funny but this is getting ridiculous now . Where do you all live to worry about this ? If it's a real concern then just put a bolt with some fender washers and hope for the best or do the fake dog shit thing I guess .

 

Imo, you have to be pretty desperate to swipe a bed mat. I've had pickups since 1973 that have had some sort of a bed mat when rubbermaid made them cheap. Never once did someone try to steal one. Are they made of some special rubber material now thats priceless?

Yeah per their rules I needed more post or something, can’t member what it was. I did post in the buy sell page and it was pulled. That’s why I’m making content sorry I don’t usually post trash because I know how to use the search feature. Also, couldn’t believe I had something Tacoma related to sell and it was taken down but people selling all kinds of other trash on the classifieds

 

In fact, I think I should be applauded for not wanting to make dumb post about bed mats, and actually trying to get Tacoma related stuff to Tacoma owners

If you are going to worry about the bed mat, you have to start worrying about your bed rails, whatever is in that right cubby hole, and those tie downs. Those come off and are carried away more easily.

And then join me in that rabbit hole that has catalytic converters on my brain.
