They said in an instagram post it's a custom bumper somebody made. It's not listed for sale anywhere, but everything is for sale for the right price.

It's very interesting. It's definitely the most minimalist front bumper I've ever seen. Thanks for the reply.

Hoping that someone can help, is there any manufacturer that makes *aluminum* front bumpers? Doesn't matter that it will be very thick, I want to keep the weight down. I have been unable to find anyone that does this.

@JDEMELLO @Dissent86 @CBI Offroad Fab all make aluminum front bumpers. @JLee makes a alu/steel hybrid. Insain Fabrications, Hefty Fab, @SOS CONCEPTS.
There are probably others. Everything I just mentioned was in the first post...unless they've all just quite offering aluminum options.

Liking the APEX3GN Aluminum front bumper so far, but still looking. I've noticed that almost every bumper allows for a winch but I can't see how you get access to it if there's a jam or some other problem that requires you to mess with the winch itself. Do they all have a hidden trap door for winch access? Or do you have to drop the bumper to get to it? I suppose I could just install a front hitch and be done with it...hmmm...

Think I saw one of the "D" companies had a front bumper with a winch access panel in front that you can remove with 6 bolts. That might work...

    EDIT: It was CBI.

Haha. No mad max here. After hitting a deer with my 1996 Dodge 12 valve a few years ago, and doing over $6k of damage I want some kind of protection against suicidal deer, and Elk.

After hitting a cow and writing off my first '17 MT OR near Zion in '17 I decided it was too risky to not get a hoop bumper.

Since then and a few swerves over the years to avoid deer in early morning/ evening I'm still convinced it's good insurance.
The thought of getting stuck somewhere out in the great yonder due to crumpling the paper mache front that these trucks are made out of just didn't sit well.

Fortunately I picked up an aluminum 3 hooper that although large and ugly still looks relatively cool and provides a place to hang your biking gear to dry out after a ride.

I get it, honestly I do. There are a lot of deer in my part of the state. Every once and a while a cow or bull will wonder out onto the road too. It's a lot of corn and soy bean fields but also a lot of woods.

Just a quick search returned this factoid: In 2018, when an estimated 11,184 deer were killed by cars in just Maryland alone...................

That's an estimate! I am willing to bet it was more. Not everyone is going to claim it on their insurance either. There are spots out here I do rapid fire horn taps because I have learned where they cross the road. The soggy bottoms are the worst. I dread the weeks leading up to and then into hunting season.

I just try to be more diligent watching the sides of the roads, and fields. I also run high output LEDs and will even use my lightbars when I am safe to do so. I hope you can stay safe and laugh at me when the time comes.

Not sure if this has been done yet or not but..........

@WarFab Armor has some quality armor you can actually use. I wouldn't mind having any of their bumpers hanging off the front of my 3rd gen!

The Warthog with the tube up top is $950 with DOM tubing, and $850 with HREW. The tube adds $100. Winch compatible. Willing to customize the size of the hoop too!

The Tomcat Hybrid $1,080. Winch compatible.(would be my choice with a high hoop for limb risers)

I have it on very good authority these guys are freakin awesome to work with and willing to customize to whatever extent you can afford. Hell, for an additional fee you can have a custom name plate on this Tomcat!
