If someone wants to be the guinea pig I can make one of these within the next couple of weeks. I think we’d want to try the IGN source from A33 at first just to see if it’ll handle the juice from 6-8 relay coils, though. If not then yeah we can move to a more dedicated source from the fuse panel.

For people that aren’t following the diagram as well as Caribe seems to do in his sleep: this would be a plug and play solution for @MESO switch panel below the head unit. It would have new green connectors for every switch. The harness would illuminate the switches like they should from the factory + include a 12V source wire (IGN controlled). All you’d be left to do with this solution is simply run your wires to your accessory coils. Everything else would be handled.

Use a low side FET to ground the relay. TC4423 is just one example (there are non inverting or inverting versions). Yes, you sneeze and that tiny DFN package goes flying everywhere!

The relay side would be up to the user  The switch in the diagram uses ground solely for the ambient LED.

For switches that have larger, more complex images or print that includes long words like “compressor” you can use 3mm “straw hat” leds(flat top) or even smd leds on edge to get more even illumination. Standard 3mm leds have a 30 degree output and straw hat leds are 60 degrees. Smd leds 135 degrees.

I haven't forgotten about all of the people on the waitlist! I will be re-opening orders next week (most likely; my shipment is in transit). These will be the full version of the harnesses with the extra green connectors to make everything plug-and-play with the CH4x4/Cali-Raised switches. I will be editing the first page sometime this week to refresh everyone's memory on the benefits of that version of the harnesses. Thanks for being patient!

I am going to open orders for the full harnesses. These are the version with the extra green connector that plugs into your CH4x4/Cali-Raised/AOB/Mic-Tuning switches; making things very "plug and play." I also have posted-up the daisy-chain expansion harnesses. The expansion harnesses allow you to expand the illumination from one switch to the next and you can get as many as you want (I have 7 on my truck currently). These are all due within the next week or so.

If you'd like to pre-order just shoot me a PM! The first post has been updated with new photos and new descriptions thanks to @OilCapital2021! If you have questions feel free to reach out. I have already placed a few people on the pre-order list as @MESO recently opened his 3D printing orders and there's a ton of people getting new switch panels below their head units and overhead. If you were lucky to snag an order during his last round and want a clean solution for the electric-side of your new panel let me know! We'll have stock for everyone (and likely never run out... we'll have a few thousand :)).

I’ve got some leftover materials from a few prototypes I made for MT! Just shoot me a PM with what you need. It’ll have a green connector and will be compatible with the daisy chains. No timeline for a production version of it but it’s in the works as far as mass production goes. For now I can make them by hand as demand is relatively low.

Alright all harnesses are now in stock! Give me a day or two to get my inventory organized and I’ll start shipping out the pre-orders.

I’ve gotten a few questions on how the daisy chain works and now I have enough units to give an illustration:
    206926FD-BF6A-483D-B948-8A173EE4A0B2.jpg

You can see that the “base harness” (left) comes with a green connector. It’ll illuminate 1 switch. When you add daisy chains (5 in this photo) the breakout green connector plugs right into the male of the next daisy chain in order. If you want to populate a switch panel with 6 switches you would plug everything in exactly as shown above :). All you’re left with are the wires out to your accessories and the wires to your source (usually a fuse tap). Any more questions let me know.

I get a lot of requests to build illumination harnesses for MT people with the 2-LO harness + switch. The issue is the 2-LO harness is pre-built without being tapped into dash illumination and dimming, and the harness comes with everything hardwired to a green connector for the custom switch. I've been instructing people to cut the green connector off and wire it into my harness but I don't like that. SO I've been working with @The Pirate and we came up with a simple no-cut solution.
    IMG_4205.HEIC.jpg

Just plug the green connector of the 2-LO harness into the open male end of this harness and plug it into your custom switch. It'll illuminate like the factory switches and become dimmable. 2-LO function will not be impacted whatsoever. I ran out of MT illumination harness prototypes so Pirate gets to run wires across his steering column (hence the cargo light connector), but hopefully you get the gist. If you want something like this let me know; it's a custom order but doesn't take me too long to build.

Hey folks! Due to another retailer order we are currently out of stock of the left of steering wheel and daisy chain harnesses. If you wish to purchase these you can either PM me and get on the wait list or wait for these to hit stores within the next month. Once the retailers have these on their websites I will start referring you to them and will only take orders for custom requests. Thanks again for the support!
