I have a 2014 4x4 SR5, I recently installed the bilstein 5100 leveling kit 0-2.5 inches in the front and 0-1 inches in the back, I have them both at the highest setting. I am looking to get bigger tires and I’m not sure what the biggest tire I could fit with any cutting or rubbing. I have after market wheels with a 0 offset currently wrapped with 245/75/R16, if anyone has a similar set up or has any suggestions I’m all ears

265/16/75 (or 265/17/70) OR possibly 255/16/85 (or 255/17/80) without cutting. Going up to a 285 will need cutting. This is just from my general TW knowledge. I have 265's and didn't cut anything. Just removed the front mudflaps (both front and rear flaps on the wheel well).

I also have a 2014 double cab Tacoma. I can't tell you conclusively what is the biggest tire that would fit but what I can tell you is I'm running a tire that is closer to my UCA's than yours (because my 18" wheels have a +35 offset) and the my tires are 2.1" larger in diameter and .8" wider than yours. I'm running 265/70-18's and have done no cutting or rubbing. I am very pleased with both the look and the ride.

If I had to do it over again I think I could have gone with 275/70-18's (which would have been another .5" larger in diameter and .4" wider) or possibly a 265/75-18' (which would have been an additional 1" larger in diameter). If I were to go larger next time, I don't think I could go larger in both diameter and width in the same tire before I start having problems.

    Hope this helps.

@gkomo makes a good point. While I haven't removed either my front or rear mudflaps I did have to trim about 1 to 1.5" off the front mudflaps. But I actually did that when I put 265/65-18's on my truck. If I was backing up an incline with the steering wheel at either left or right lock position the front mudflaps would rub slightly. Sorry...

Do you have a level/lift that you are running? If so how much?

Since you have 16" wheels I'd go with 265/75/16's. To be honest that is only 1" taller and about 3/4" wider than what you have. You could have done that without the expense of a lift, but it will probably look better with a lift.

You might be able to fit larger tires in the fenders, but you start running into other issues and expense not to mention loss of power and fuel economy.

ICON Stage 2. The result is about 1.5" of lift in the front, 2" in the back. The truck sits level.

265-70-17….great tire and works most of the time.

you do know that the rear bilstien shocks don’t actually lift the truck. Right?

I just installed 255/80/r17 toyo at3s on TRD wheels (from the adventure 4runner)
Bilstein 6112/5160 @ 2.4" lift up front and 1.5 rear

IF you want factory caster alignment specs and to be able to stuff the tire at full lock off road you will need a cab mount chop.

I didn't rub on the street but definitely rubbed off road. After the CMC iv had zero issues.

I'm running 285/75/16 BFG KM3 on the trd beadlocks. Didnt rub anywhere but the front flaps.
billly 5100/OME setup with AAL in the rear. my alignment was good, but still installed UCA.

Which UCAs did you install? I am on 265/75/16 right now and debating if I should go 285 or even 295. I am running SCS SR8 with -12 offset and 4.0 backspace I believe. I will definitely be gettting some new UCAs and would be fine with CMC and pinch weld but I would hate cutting my fenders...what do you think?

Using the information provided by both my posts and yours, and the TacomaWorld Tire Calculator, we just answered the OPs original question. Our trucks are very similar.
    - Both 2014 DCSB 4X4
    - Roughly the same lift
    - Both OE Wheel Offset

Columns are: First, Tire Width (MM), TireDiameter (MM), Wheel (in), TireDiamter (IN), and Tire Width (IN).
    255 80 17 33.06 10.04 Your Tire
    265 80 16 32.69 10.43
    265 75 17 32.65 10.43
    265 70 18 32.61 10.43 My Tire
    275 75 16 32.24 10.83
    275 70 17 32.16 10.83
    275 65 18 32.07 10.83

Whole sub-forum about Wheels & Tires found at link below. LOTS of info there, prepare for data overload.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/forums/wheels-tires.15/

What others here have said is true that commonly for 2005+ Tacomas largest size is 265/70/17, 265/75/16 or 265/65/18, depending on what size wheels you have. Beyond that you start having clearance issues with the cab mount and inner wheel well liners that require cutting/chopping/welding/big F'ing hammer time. No two trucks are made alike so some people might be able to stuff a big tire without issues while another truck of the same year/configuration might not.

Good luck and welcome to Tacoma World!

    Safe bet is a 265 75 16 or 70 17

I run 285 70 17s on 17 x 8.5 with 4.5 bs. I have 3 inches of lift in the front I've done the CMC, trimmed plastic hammer the pinch weld. I dont rub on or off road well fully stuffed.

This is perfect to me. I want those wheels on my truck. Different wheels make fitting tires easier or harder And it seems trd beadlock is the best. 2nd would be a zero offset with around 4.5 backspace.
