Yeah. the smaller ones. they seem to fill up my 29ers just fine. but one use is really all you get out of them. :/ I need to look into ones that I can somehow refill or something isntead of using these things once.

LOL. Was she wearing gloves or something? These things freeze up when they're expelling that much air that quickly.

I was always a big RPF1 fan in my Subaru days, but I don't love them on the Taco. The spokes are too thin IMO. I'd do the TRD Pro wheels.

Yeah I have a soft spot for them. I had a set I used on multiple Civics for autocross.

The extra inch in width and lower weight & offset really tempt me, im also not crazy about black wheels on silver. I like the TRD Pro design and if they where bronze/gunmetal it probably wouldnt be much of a debate.

Anyone ever MTB in Hawaii? Lol

I’ve got two credit cards coming in for signup bonus rewards and well Hawaii for around 2 weeks sounds awesome. It’s around a $3550-3650 trip for plane, room, and car for that long. I didn’t think was terrible. More research to be done though.

this is a 2 person trip.

I didn't MTB while i was there last month, but I did go up Mt Haleakala to see the sunrise, and then ride a bike down the roads into Paia. That was fun.

I’ve been told about that by family that’s been. Shuttle up and ride back down on the road?

yea. The company we went through was great about getting us up the mountain in time to get a good spot for the sunrise. But we were riding these big steel cruiser type bikes, and had a guide coming down. There are other options, that give you a Kona Hardtail, and let you get yourself down the mountain. If i planned it again, I might go for the self-guided version. But getting the guide does makes thing easier.

Aside from the larger model insignia, I like the aesthetics of the SLX cranks better than the higher tier models. Tough to see from pictures but they have a slight bluish-gray hue and a more matte finish.
