Hey guys. Can anyone who has the 12volt solutions kit lend me a hand
I just installed in my 2008 Tacoma and I’m trying to figure out what plugs into the remote start module? I don’t see any instructions as to what plugs go into the module portion anywhere on the instructions they provided and their video just straight up skips that portion. Pics showing what I have plugged. I tried plugging everything they had somewhere. Nothing I can see to go into the red or other black plug ins on one small end in my final pic. Also I’m not sure if I’m supposed to use every plug in that’s in that bundle of small plugs that comes with it. Also the big ignition plug is hella hard to get out. I tried unplugging it to reroute and could not. Any help with that too would be so great Thanks Guys
Also if u happen to have a illustration somewhere. I just haven’t gotten anywhere looking for it

Jimmy, I bought a remote start with long range remote last fall for my 2019 OR pushbutton and it works great. Range is well over 1500 feet and I am happy with it. That being said, I am looking at upgrading to a 2021 OR. Will my current N2 Designs remote start move over to the 2021 pushbutton? In past posts in this thread there was talk about new firmware for 2020 and newer. Just wondering if I need to purchase a new one or send it back to you for a firmware update? The N2 website shows 2016-2021. Thanks.

    Hi Jeff!

We responded to your PM and will call you to go over details of this process...there IS a difference.

He's talking about the long range RF kit, not smart module.

Some folks aren't allowed to carry personal cell phones where they work such as Prisons, High Security Government Agencies, Aircraft Contractors/Military.

I was able to move my remote start from my 2019 to 2021 with no issues. No firmware update or harness needed. I just re-ran through the programming process to the new truck and good to go. Also the long range remote still works. Thanks Jimmy.

Try remote starting it and stopping a few times in a row. Don't be surprised if it stops working. If it does, you'll need the new harness.
