I'm not saying it was not a bit excessive, but he tortured that Truck by trying to kidnap it's converters. And if he had NOT done that, he would probably be alive today. We live, or die, by the choices we make. If it were me, I would have just backed up onto his legs and put it in park while I called the cops. I woulda told them I stopped when I heard a scream. Some people are just more willing to remove scum from society though.

 

That's not true. You and I and 99.99% of the world knows that people will shoot thieves for stealing their property. So if you decide to steal something, you've decided that's a risk you're willing to take. And I'm not back tracking. I wouldn't shoot the guy only because I know the possible consequences, same as criminals.

 

Prob not for theft of property but people are on the edge of losing it too. So who knows what will set someone off

From a purely financial aspect imagine how much we’ll save in lessening the need for jails. Insurance rates would go down, who wouldn’t like that. And so on.

 

Now I wonder how would you feel and what would you do if your daughter is brutally stabbed to death by a man with a history of violence toward women. All this after she had a restraining order and called 911 for help and no one showed up until you found her body and called hours later.

If the man that did that to a friend’s daughter had been executed the very first time he beat a girl half to death, several others wouldn’t have been brutalized before he committed murder.

By the way, no trial. He plead it down to second degree.

That ladies and gentlemen is how our police and criminal legal (there is no justice in it) system works.

So am I willing to do what the government refuses to do? Figure it out, you’re a bright little snowflake.

 

Business license of recycle center should be pulled immediately for receiving stolen goods. Transfer assets to a competitor, and shut the offending business down. No financial incentive to be had then. As for killing someone for stealing from your vehicle, home? How was that a threat to your life? Don't bother answering, because I'm pretty sure the answer will be disproportionately fucked up.

How are they supposed to know it's stolen? With your method there would be no more recycling centers. They already make people wait to receive their money if it's more than $50 for anything other than aluminum cans here in California. Doesn't stop them, they just recycle at one, then go to the next with another.

As for killing people for stealing. I think life is precious. I will treat your life as precious as you show me it is to you. If your caught stealing my tv, your showing me your life is worth less to you than a $300 hunk of plastic, or $1500 in catalytic converters. People know the consequences of their actions, they take those risks anyways. In this scenario the guy was so down on his luck that he was sleeping in his truck in a parking lot when some asshole decided he was going to make his life even worse in order to get $50 for crack. He succeeded in making it worse, but it's the last life he will negatively impact. And I'll she's no tears for him.

 

Whole lot of folks forgetting that one pesky thing about being in the United States. The Bill of Rights.

Some of us have seen first hand the horrors of sharia law and definitely don’t want that happening where we live.
