There are a lot of spots on the C section down in the Browns Park area that you can park and hike along the river. Check out Taylor’s Flat area if you want to see some new river areas that are cool, less crowded and have a shot at a legit toad.

My best friend has been a guide up there since 2006, so if he has any free days he might show you around. He’s one of those guys that loves to fish even on his days off.

“Chickens corners” in Moab is a great trail with amazing views almost the entire time. Suspension will get a lil flex but totally doable in a stock Tacoma. “Top of the world” in Moab is fun with the reward of the iconic pic at end. I followed a a stock Cherokee trail hawk up this in my 2nd gen with 3” lift on 265s, only one challenging obstacle on the trail, very bouncy coming back down.

    Glad you solved that mystery!

After this maybe you can stop sprinkling broken truck parts from that rear corner all over Oregon. (Too soon?)

Jokes aside, wish you all the best getting it repaired.

Also Pasta Jays is my favorite spot to eat in Moab, I get Jays famous jumbo shells almost every time. And if you want to grab a t shirt in Moab, you absolutely have to check out “the t shirt shop” I want to say almost %100 of the designs where hand drawn by the owner and her style is dopeAF IMO, and they are fairly inexpensive.

I had more than a couple places tell me they didn't do die cut, or didn't want to do die cut stickers with so much clean up. Including one someone in this thread said his buddy ran. Then I didn't like the price on some others. Mostly though, I have been procrastinating.

I'll get back on this soon.

Alright you gave me a kick in the ass. I just ordered a single test sticker. 6"x3.5" if it comes out well, I will be placing an order for 50. Any less and the price per sticker sucks. Not really sure how many people are gonna want one. Proof looks to take about 2 weeks or so. Then figure another 2 weeks until the full order shows up. So with luck, we shall have stickers ready in about a month.

Really appreciate you and your buddy making the designs. Thank you again! You will be the first to get your sticker.

How many people here would be interested in attending a Fellowship potluck in a Portland park?

If I reserve (and pay for) a picnic area we would be allowed to bring grills, games, and BYOB beer for up to 49 people. I would plan on bringing a grill and burgers. All other food I would be asking you all to bring. This would be a family friendly event on a Saturday or Sunday.

I would need a good number of people to be interested to make it worth the time and money to make this happen. Timing would depend on how far out the picnic sites are booked. Ideally we could make this happen by late July.

Could it also possibly be a Washington park? I would imagine most Portland parks are completely booked out by the transient population (not to sound insensitive, I just would imagine the smell of hot food and sounds of fun may attract the uninvited)

I don't care either way, count me in!

LOL! Do you really think homeless people are booking up picnic sites?

I live across the parking lot from a Portland park (technically the parking lot is our street) and the parks department does a pretty darn good job at keeping people from living at the parks. Whenever a tent pops up the police are here within the day to ask them to leave.

EDIT: The real competitions for reservations would be all the family get togethers, graduation parties, and quinceaneras throwing down this time of year. The picnic area here at Creston park bumps nonstop pretty much all summer

I was thinking Woodstock park, or Alberta Park. I visit both often and there isn't really a homeless problem nearby.

Not how it works here near Seattle. I think instead of asking them to leave they bring them dumpsters, honeybuckets, and free needles.

I think my point may have been missed slightly... I don't think the homeless are booking out the parks, more just setting up camp. Again, not to sound insensitive, but when you have hobos digging their fingers into your food and sauces you spent money on, I've seen people get shitty real quick and would rather avoid any confrontation because someone is hungry and sees a group of people sharing food and help themselves...

I'm pretty sure I can think of a million better places to camp than in a city park.

Careful, this could be construed as a political comment to some, and the mods ban people quick for those.
