I have my tracking spreadsheet for all my high value items, costs, mods, etc under password protection, and I'm single

Thankfully for me, I consider "hobby" time as "free" and moreover an avoidance of spending money on my other hobbies, so taking up slack time is a great thing for me.

But I'm an accountant! I can't help it!

Besides, nobody asks for receipts anymore, unlike back in my dad's day where his 65 Impala lost a good chunk of value when his HS best friend lowered the sun visor and all the mod receipts he had stored up there got sucked out the window

I'm probably at about $3,000 of add-ons. My Diamondback tonneau cover was about $1800 and my BFG KO2's were another $1100 and I've got about $100 of little things like the console organizer.

That is a good justification for buying proper tools to do the job.

Even if you didnt need the tool, that was almost worth the batteries and charger alone.

Let's see, bed mat, k&n air and cabin filters, dash mat...about $200. I love looking at all the modified Tacomas though.

Oh, and the center console organizer, so add another $15.

I was thinking the same. Unless you notify your Insurance company of additional add ons and pay extra they won't cover them. Also, most insurance companies have a price cap on the amount of aftermarket add ons they will cover like $5k or whatever.
