Am I understanding correctly that Toyota has a 24 month or 24,000 mile free service package that comes with a new vehicle?
Also, if you buy at a dealership that's not local, can you take the vehicle into any dealership's for service?

The 10K and the 20K services are the only ones worth a shit because they change the oil and filter for free. The 5K, 15K and 25K services consist of you waiting for an hour or 2 for them to do a 30 sec. check of the fluid levels and rotate the tires (which I can do myself faster than it takes me to drive there one way). I had my dealership do the 10K service at 5K because I wanted my first oil change to be at 5K instead of the normal 10K. You get 2 free oil changes either way, it’s up to you when you want to do them (up to 25K).

My first service was at 5k miles and it was a 3 hr tire rotation.

So in 24,000 there are only 2 oil changes?

Yup, synthetic oil. Only needs changed every 10k.
The rest of the service appoints will be tire rotations.... if they do it at all and will most likely over inflate the tires to 40lbs
