I’ll see if I can store another frame. I don’t hAve a 4runner.. BUT if I had a frame I’d hunt one down to save from the scrapper.
    I’ll put word out too

How "just north" of Indiana? I'm in Noblesville, there are a ton of nice taco's around the north side. I know there is a southern Indiana group of guys who do some runs every once and a while.

I'm also in Noblesville. I want to try to get people together to gain off-roading/Overlanding experience. I eventually want to go to the Badlands and do the Kentucky Adventure Tour...stuff like that.

I’m around Indy on occasion to see my sister. I’m sure someone will spot me in the tundra or one of the tacos one day.

    Oof that’s tempting.

But I have to watch the spending on things. I bought an unforeseen taco. LOL

Honestly I keep a tight wallet. The trucks are paid for with the side work. Big thing is the fun stuffs at the machine shop and when it’s done I want to make sure I have all the cash to pay for all the work they’re doing

Speaking of rust, IF you happen across a 3rd gen 4runner for cheap that needs a frame, get ahold of me. I’ve got a frame coming first of July. My uncle is looking at a 3rd gen for camping. Hence me jumping on a full frame for $400 deliverered!

Yeah, I have always been a "pay as you go" type on vehicles. I haven't borrowed money on one since I was in my early 20's. I keep saying I am going to buy a new new one for retirement, but I still want to get my 2001 Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4 back from a friend. If I get that back. I may never buy a new truck.

I can’t bring myself to own a massive chunk of debt that losses so much value in a matter of a couple years.

I'll watch the parking lot there at work. It's the highest concentration of Toyota's on the planet.

    I wonder why :notsure:

LOL zero rush. He’s got the 04 tundra too. He just wants something smaller for camping. Tundras mostly for work. Once I have the frame in my possession (next month) I’ll start actively looking harder.

It's hard to walk through that lot and not get the fever. There are TRD Pros of every model all over the place. The company lease program makes it irresistible for most. There are guys driving 2021 Taco TRD Pros for <$250/month, and insurance, tax, license is included.

Now that I am a contract employee because I retired once, I am not eligible for the lease program, so the temptation is gone.
