What’s wrong with the fittings and why do you say the body cap is from a C/O? I’m confused as to why that would matter.

I'm keeping that auto-correction in my quote, Lol. The fittings are not orientated anything like I ordered them, I can turn them but they're way off. As for the body cap, it might not clear my Archive relocation towers. Pictures speak louder than words, I ordered them like this:

Hmm, keep me posted. I have a set of C/Os allegedly coming in next week...I'll post some pictures as well. I'm curious what happened -- I'm going on week 17 of "6-8" so I'm pretty annoyed.

what’s more interesting is the shock in the picture in no way resembles what you received. The body cap is internal thread and the adjuster is a completely different design than the Fox knockoff you received.

Will do, I'm getting an email started with Riley right now to figure out what's going on. I ordered C/Os at the end of May, but if they ship like this I'm going to cancel.
Yep, I'm pretty confused. I didn't even receive a shipping notification from Locked, I had a UPS alert that said I had a package shipping from a "Daniel Sachs." I have no clue who that is. Highly sketch, bc these look like re-brands out of someone's garage.

FWIW the resi in the image does not have separate hi and low speed adjustments and the one he received does have HSC LSC

Kinda’ curious about the patent comments too…a lot of shock mfgr’s have had hsc / lsc adjustments for a long time do you guys just think the knob layout is patented ?

Read our previous conversation about this topic.

I’m not aware of another company that offers both a high and low speed adjusters. Obviously there are many considerations when discussing the topic. All we can see is the external design but it’s pure sketch based off that alone.

Yep so far I'm eating the words I said yesterday in regards to Locked. This doesn't even remotely resemble any of the products I've ever seen from them so I'm more confused than anything. I sent my email about 15 mins ago, so we'll see if Riley replies.

Move your upper limit straps mounts. You want the strap pulling dead straight if you can. Otherwise you are asking to bend tabs

I’m mounting them just like Harry from JD does.

I guess the spacer puts that lower mount in double shear, but still I’d try to keep that line of pull as straight as possible if you can. We’ll double shear isn’t the right word. But it adds strength

I looked closer at the pics and I was wrong. I put it on the wrong side of the rectangle in the frame, so it is at a bit of an angle. She staying tho, should be fine since all I do is crawl.

I’m curious how much they’re needed for crawling. To be honest, I’m not sure what the limiting factor is for me currently. Maybe the JBAs? I rarely top out harshly as it is. What’s the limiting factor for the JD, the upper ball joint?

It appears with the coilover at full droop, the upper BJ is riiiiight at its max. So the strap just helps save that, or so it seems.

And I am going to fix that upper limit strap mount tomorrow. Won’t take more than half an hour and will bug me if I leave it.

I don’t have the room, time, skill or budget for it.
