Most will probably say a new tune is the way to go. I'd agree.

I would choose sprint booster over all the “throttle controllers”

But like skydvr said, tune is the way to go. Same price or cheaper to get someone to flash your ECU.

I’ve got the SB and still need to adjust shift points. Can’t run the SB with a tune.

New tune cost me $100. That leaves $100-200 to do other mods compared to a throttle controller mod.

Some people aren’t comfortable with tuning. I’m all for it but I work with a guy who just got a Pro. I’m trying to get him to try tunes with me so we can compare them and he’s anti messing with his ECU. He’s starting to open up to a pedal mod though.

You are the man! I’ve been asking tuners and they said not to use this with KDMax! You answered my prayer!

I run the KDMax LT tune with the EVC throttle controller. I set the EVC to "--" on pavement and to eco mode to reduce throttle sensitivity in 4low. Come winter I may also use eco mode in the snow.

From what I understand in the instruction sheet, the Sprint Booster doesn't have a direct equivalent to eco mode. Sprint Booster's valet mode appears to "clip" the max throttle input. It's also intentionally very cumbersome to switch between valet mode and normal mode. Whereas EVC lets you toggle through ultimate, --, and eco modes on the fly.

I might try OV and SB since I already have everything; just waiting on my license from OV. After I give that a shot I’ll go KD to see how they both suit my driving needs.

Just installed a sprint booster. Picked up my M/T 2017 Tacoma a month ago and couldn't stand the throttle lag feathering the clutch. Race +3 fixed that.
