    Sounds like a good deal.

At the dealer my deal is normal pricing… seriously. We get nothing. LOL

Purchase is same at the plant. Discounts Tundra-Tacoma rarely exceed $2000. But the lease deal for salaried is killer. There are a lot of salaried positions there, so the lot is full of Pros.

I’d love to work directly for Toyota. LOL. But driving to Aurora or moving there is a no no.

manufacturing side of it isn’t for me.

I have a buddy with a 4runner who wants to hit up badlands some time. I have never been there and want to go as well. I'd be down for a north indy badlands group run. Hopefully my new wheels will be in by end of month so I can go back to 33's with more grip.

Toyota Design Center. They have technician jobs. They work with designers on making prototype of new parts, modify current models for testing planned changes, and build prototypes of new vehicles.

Look for any type of fab shop or welding shop. Any skilled welder could do it watching a YouTube video. I think there’s a couple 4x4 shops near Indy

I have the CMC plates sitting on a shelf in my garage. I have been watching youtube videos on how to do this in prep for doing it myself.... just too nervous to cut my truck up on my own :D Especially being the first big cut/weld on the truck so far.

I would offer to do it in the indy area but it would be amateur hour for sure!

How about you knock it out on your truck first then we can do mine? :) I have some 17x9 -25 wheels that I will probably put a 285/70 on so I know its going to rub.

I saw you off 146th and 37th the other day, I’m always zipping around Noblesville in my work car.

HAHA I still wont make any promises even with one under my belt haha. That much backspace and those big of tires do 3rd gens have a little more space or have you considered a complete cam mount replacement? You might have to chop a lot!

I wish I had a stealth car so not everyone saw me all the time too HAHA

There are plenty of 3rd gens running 285s on SCS wheels that are 17x9 with -38 offsets with a CMC, hammering the pinch weld, and a good alignment. I will test fit a 285 first, but should be able to make it work. If it appears to be too much cutting involved I will just do a 275. :fingerscrossed:

    @Empty_Lord

Congratulations on the Tundra reaching 200,000 today! I'm hoping that beauty is no more than half way to the promised land. It's definitely a nice truck. I love the look of a reg cab, long bed, 1st gen. Even the Blurple (Stellar Blue Pearl 8L7) ones we made. Good on you for resurrecting it from a potential "part out" fate.

Enjoyed meeting up with you today and I hope your Dad likes the running boards on his truck. Always happy to help another Taco owner make his rig more like he wants it to be.

Feel free to tell folks you have two (counting nephew Gabe) friends in Southern Indiana!

was good to meet you today! I’m sure he’ll enjoy them on the truck. And those shocks are going to go on the future 4runner! I’ll have to swing by one day in down in southern indiana and ram fire arms too now!

Anytime. My brother has 5 sons and we all like to shoot anytime we get the chance. That's why Gabe had the rash on his shoulder. We were shooting until sundown last night.

Don't forget to send me a pic of that missing screw you are needing and I'll check with my friend who has such good connections regarding guns/repair parts.

Here's a pic of my collection. Other than the pistols, mostly stuff I've used for hunting over the years:
