Depends on your budget. Lower end would be Bilsteins and I don't know much about them. High end would be Fox, King, etc. I have Fox 2.5s in the front and 2.0s in the rear and got maybe 1.5" or so. I think I have a bit too much preload on the front coilovers because there doesn't seem to be as much rake as I'd like.

If you live or will live in states that use road salt often then Foxes don't seem to be the way to go since they have no coating and can rust easily. I think ADS and/or Elka have coatings though and are at about the same price point.

It really is all budget dependent and how you'll use the truck. Seeing as these leafs don't provide too much lift, if you want rake, you'll want to stay around 1.5"-2" lift

These come with bushings already. I've scoured this thread and I've yet to see anyone replace them yet due to them being rubber bushings and a pita to get out.

Icon says on option #1 that it provides 1.875" unloaded (which I am 90% of the time). So if I install the leaf pack and a 2" front coilover then I am going to be pretty close to factory rake, which I understand is about 2"? I am just trying to figure out if I am understanding this correctly or not.

I appreciate the confirmation from somebody who knows more about these rigs than I do. I think I am going to shoot for 2.5"

Can anyone comment if they are running these with Icon shocks. And how they like the setup

Just ordered Icon coilovers Extended travel 2.5” RR and would like to match the rear with Icon

Fox 12” triple bypass. I’d rather have a smoothie, best all around. Since it’s my daily driver

I have been running the rxt leaf pack and 2.5 rear reservoir shocks for a month or more now. It is a solid upgrade from the icon add a leaf and 2.0 shocks. I also had wheeler bump stops installed. I am very pleased.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m researching the same shock. Which stage are you on the springs ?

And are those shocks part#57826P or 57805P

I'm on stage 2 due to a miscommunication with the shop, actually. I like the look of the rake, though. Ofcourse now Im thinking about moving from 33's to 34's... it never ends hah

Hey all, another “am I thinking this correct” post.

I currently have OME 888 (I think it was 888…been a while) for a 3” lift up front, and just a 2” block in the rear. 5100s all around. Stance is great and I’m visually about perfectly level when unloaded.

Problem is when I put my rack, RTT, and other gear on, it sags more than I like. So what I want is to keep about the same stance, slight rake is ok, but have it hold up better when loaded. I’m gonna guess around 5-600# when loaded but really don’t know exactly. Also hope not to sacrifice any ride quality.

So I like these and am thinking stage 2. It should give me about the same lift in the back as the 2” block, but hold up better to the weight.

    Is that correct?

Stage 2 when loaded up drives like a dream. I have my RTT, heavy ass rack and all my camping gear in and it sits level on my 2nd gen. When I am unloaded its slightly rough but I can handle it knowing how it rides when loaded and doesnt sag.

I agree with this. I just don’t feel like dealing with swapping them out

Maybe I’m missing something but I really don’t see how installing a leaf pack is causing transmission shift point issues. Sounds like a tune issue.

So I had option 2 on for about two years and decided to move to option 3 because I added a topper, bigger tent, and rear swing out. I had a shop do the move from 2 to 3. When I picked up the truck I noticed the rear clip was not installed on both sides. They just threw them in my truck. When I noticed them on my seat I went out to see why they weren’t installed and it looks like they don’t fit anymore. The bolt does t line up with the hole.

anyone else experience this after rocking option two for a while and switching to option 3?
