I've got a similar stock (from ACE) mounted to my SBR. I wrapped the top tube with grip tape for tennis rackets to add a little padding. I wrapped it in '08 or '09 and it has held up very well.

That thing looks awesome! I have a Rifle Dynamics stock pouch on the way which has a small pad to it, I put an EOTech XPS3 on it the other night and find with no riser I can get on target very quickly but I think having a small pad will help when I want to get a deeper cheek weld for longer shots.

What charging handle device is that?

Any reason why you went with that over a Vortex or other options?

I have a piece of 3/8" fuel line over the charging handle. It overhangs about 1/4".

I'm a long gun lefty and was talking to Sonny Puzikas about the charging handle nailing me in the kidney when tossing the rifle on my back when transitioning to a pistol. He said it was what the left handed guys in his Spetsnaz unit used. I figure if it was a good enough solution for them it would work for me.

Thats even better than buying something, I'm sure I have some line laying around. I find when I'm really sweaty and running with no gloves my hand likes to slip off and slice on the safety that needs to be trimmed down. Thanks for the tip!

No reason other than we had it in stock and the owner wanted it gone so I got it for cost+ A tiny markup, it ended but being about $100 cheaper than the Viper 1-6.
It was also somewhat of an impulse buy, I was going to get my supernova out of layaway and ended up buying the scope.

Got my vortex ranger back from vortex warranty. Super fast turn around and they cover shipping both ways. I bought it used and it came with a loose seal or gasket in the ocular side. Could have been cosmetic only but I sent it in anyways. They replaced the whole lense housing, did a dust removal and repurge. Very pleased with their customer service.

My 9mm AR pistol is my favorite gun to shoot. It's probably the cheapest gun besides my shield and 15-22 that I own but yet still my favorite.

Finally got and mounted the glass for the 6.5 Grendel I built last year! Went with a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 with a MRAD reticle. Can't wait to see what the set up can do.

I really only posted that instead of uploading the original for two reasons:
    1. I'm lazy
    2. The photo was already uploaded to the internet, so why bother uploading it to TW and taking up more storage?

I never really thought about employers having firewall rules that block instagram...
