Thanks for the response. I have a Southern style offroad front bumper and warn 10k winch going in soon, so that's why I asked.

I plan on using the westcott kit up front and the headstrong offroad 1.5 inch Add a leaf pack. Hoping that the front wouldn't sag too much and create a rake I didn't plan on.

Did anyone just install the bottom pre-load collar and not the spacer on top of the shock?

If so, how much lift did you get without the top spacer?

I’m debating removing it to get a little rake back for when the bed is loaded, which admittedly won’t be too frequent, as my truck is my daily driver.

It sits nearly completely level w/ Icon AAL in rear and full Westcott kit up front.

I don’t want to add the overload spring back in bc for whatever reason the AAL completely cured the vibration that was present around 25-35 mph (I know a lift usually exacerbates the issue, but it actually helped) and I don’t want to bring it back.

    TIA

I purchased the Westcott front kit and am going to purchase the Icon AAL for the rear. Going to run 285/75/16 BFG KO2s on my stock 16" Pro wheels.

Sibi Built in Southern California is telling me that I'll need wheel spacers to not rub the UCAs. With those wheel spacers, I'll be forced to do a CMC....cause they said I'll need 1.25" wheel spacers. Whaaa?

I've read through this entire thread and haven't seen a single person say they needed spacers. Can anyone who's running the Westcott kit and 285/75/16 confirm? I DO NOT WANT TO RUN SPACERS

I have the Wescott kit. I run 285/75/16 Dura-tracs. No rub on UCA's. However, my tires sat inside my body and I didn't like the stance so I installed Spyder Trax spacers, 1.25". My stance is now how I like it. Tires sit out just a tiny bit. But, with spacers you'll rub the body mount. I chopped mine. I still rub when taking a hard right into the grocery store parking lot but off road I seem to never rub. You should be fine with Wescott and 285's with pro wheels but they will sit inside the body giving you a narrow look. Good luck. If you buy spacers, only buy high quality Spyder. And...torque properly. Don't let the tire shop F'em up.

I’m running the Wescott front and only get a little run in reverse at full lock. Nothing I care about. The front kit has been incredible, love it’s manners on everything from highway to trails. I also took my front sway bar off. I’d do this lift again in a second.

285/75/16 BFG KO2 on stock everything. (RUBBED)

CMC (Still rubbed on full lock towards passenger side)

Added wescott kit front and icon RXT leaf pack and haven't rubbed on or off road on anything since. Oh yeah and she's chunky.

How’s the Westcott handling the added weight on the front? Any noticeable sag after settling?

It shouldn't sag in the front since it's a shim and a perch lift essentially. I haven't measured since I added the winch and the bumper but if it dropped at all it's probably not more than 1/4"

What option on the leaf pack are you running and are you using long travel shocks or factory fox pro shocks?

did you upgrade the springs on your shocks?

1" level up front is a joke on a PRO. Come on Toyota step it up to at least a 2" like all the competitors.

Ya, I heard they went 1.5" front, 1/2" rear. Still doesn't compete wit the competition, nor the OEM TRD lift.

Read the link I provided, It includes the part that says "compared to the previous model"

This article states "over the standard model" - https://autowise.com/2022-toyota-tacoma-trd-pro-and-trail-edition-trucks/
"The TRD Pro has already existed since 2015. But for 2022, Toyota lifted the front suspension by 1.5-inches and the rear suspension by 0.5 inches over the standard Tacoma"

Guess until we get a real answer, Im not sure what is right

OEM pro shocks and springs, option 3 on the RXT. I originally had it in option 1 because I wasn't sent the extra leaf. Worked out alright though because that was before I had the HC swingout bumper.

It was perfect but sliders may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. I've been looking at Fox 2.5s now just for some heavier springs.

    If anyone is interested…

So I removed the top spacer today and now just running the bottom collar. I can confirm it nets exactly 1” Lift over stock.

Updating this… Truck got Advan RG-D2 17” in Umber bronze wrapped in 295/70r17MT Geolandars G003. Keep in mind a did cmc on the truck. Had to trim some plastic and heat, do some minimal trimming to the the fender flare at the bottom closest to the cab on each side. With the westcott lift in front and icon aal, I don’t rub.
