The hole has no threads in it so I can’t bolt anything back in

 

Yikes thankfully it happened out here in blue springs so I just drove it slowly home

 

That sounds like a nightmare

 

Nut/bolt if it isn't a blind hole? Tap threads into aforementioned hole? Zip ties?

 

I have new spindles that need to go on so these will be thrown out

also it had zip ties lol they appear to be no longer there

 

Aye, just thinking of options. Do the new spindles allow for them to be bolted on?

Sounds like a job for stainless steel zip ties...

 

Yup new spindles have good threads on the inside of the hole for some reason this one has bad threads couldn’t ever figure out why since I’ve never taken that bolt out before

 

That's good to hear. That bracket keeps the hard line from wallowing out the the fitting. I imagine that even a zip tie wouldn't be able to arrest the movement like a bolt.

What did you do to the vehicle gods that has them acting so petty against you lately?

Eh I didn't scare me. I took my time and would let the truck slow down a little and then start shifting it down and slowly apply the ebrake
