I hope the regular trim levels look nice atleast. The TRD Pro teaser looks too busy for my taste. It’s a little too heavy on the aggressive styling IMO. Also, Would it really have been too hard to change a few things on the 5.7 to squeeze out an extra MPG or 2. Or just offer that engine as option for the 1st year or 2 at least. Killing off all the V8s in Toyota’s lineup gives me the impression of very legalistic way of thinking, not really sure how to explain the way I feel about this. It just isn’t fun to have less choices, it’s like their is less “color” so to speak. Lastly, I personally don’t care about ridiculous power in vehicles, im not a racer. I’m happy with good reliable designs that make whatever power they make reliably. Engines like the 4.0, 2.7, 5.7, even the 3.5 are fine with me. God bless you guys.

Toyota wants global architecture on all the models, and with lexus doing away with v8's slowly, its logical that the tundra does as well.

Don't forget, the first tundra v8 was a lexus v8.

I think the orange in the teaser is an orange firewall.

Gives me Taco vibes. I think if the middle section of the bumper can be color matched, it will look much better. Still don’t like not having a V8.

The badge on the hood and the way the hood slopes downstairs the nose also give me RAM vibes. The black paint on the A-Pillars makes reminds me of a Range Rover.

I really am not too concerned how the looks turn out, I am more interested in the Payload and power ratings!....I have a camping rig that I want to assemble and I wanna do it on a Tundra platform.

Everyone is like...ooh how does it look and I'm over here like...how much can this baby haul before it breaks....lol

Agreed. I too think it'll get the same 3.5L TTV6 in the LC300 which came over from Lexus. It's a proven platform already.

That’s exactly my thoughts, except the hood badges are way bigger like the Chevy/gmc HD trucks instead of the ram ones.

plus it looks like a bigger Tacoma like mentioned which is awesome in my eyes

Can’t tell if this one is a different angle or simple color swapped.

Looks like it got a ram inspired hood, 5th gen 4runner inspired grill, braptor inspired lights, and chevy inspired square wheel wells

I agree, if the center bottom piece was color matched, then it would look better. Same with a Pillars, color match all the things
