How do you get rid of the large black triangle on the top part of the front camera view ?

    All the things!
Last time I saw this discussed, you can't (aside from going aftermarket). The triangle is there to prevent you from using the screen to drive down the road.

Anyone know if it’s simply a camera replacement or something more complicated.

Seeing that the blocked out space is slightly transparent, tells me that it’s digitally imposed into the output feed from the camera by software. Which leads me to believe that it’s going to require a software hack.
