I was looking for a new key for my 02 Tacoma (since a family member lost my spare) and stumbled upon this pic from a old forum (2010 era). For the life of me I can't find the key for sale and I'm guessing it was discontinued at some point. But this brought up a new question; does anyone have any cool keys for their Tacoma that they would like to share or recommend?

If not it's not the end of the world, just thought I'd hunt for a couple days before I crack and buy the basic metal Toyota key. At the very least hopefully someone can share a cool custom design!

I had one of those. The metal was shit, I was turned away from a few key cutting stands because it wouldn't fit in their cutters, and they were a bitch to turn with the head (had to look up key anatomy) being so much narrower than the stock keys. They were sold on ebay if you really want to deal with all of that.

apparently, Wikipedia doesn't allow hot linking: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lock_and_key#/media/File:Key_anatomy.jpg

Lovely, thanks for the heads up. In that case I'll just grab a normal Toyota key

That's exactly how the original one was lost, cracked off a key ring and was never seen again. I was just planning on getting one of the basic metal keys (see below).
