I don’t want to come off like a jackass when I say this, so excuse my directness, but: this is probably not the group you want to go with. You’re going to be limited to the bunny trails and needing spotting far more often than not. everyone else will be wanting to hit the harder stuff and you will be slowing everyone down when most of them are coming from 2-4+ hours away, and trying to make the most of the day.

I would recommend finding a date when there is a beginner ride planned, or checking out when they have the classes across the road and get some experience with that first.

And this group is going to do what?

If a group going out isn't willing to take on a new person... I can't say anything good about them.

Ive taken groups of all levels and the front side of Daniel crew have been more than willing to ride the easy stuff and then let the newb ride shotgun when they get out of their league. Riding is a great way to learn what else is out there and what it takes to do it.

Every time I’ve been with people above my experience level I get left in the dust and end up alone taking on most obstacles by myself. Hasn’t happened every time, but more times than not :notsure:

I don’t want to go wheeling with those people. Every time I have been wheeling with rigs that are way more capable than me they stuck around and dragged my ass over the tough obstacles. Rule number 1 for me is you never leave anybody behind.

The #norm crew helped me out and gave me good guidance when I was stock-ish for the first time at Uwharrie. I wouldn't expect anything less from these guys.

    Indeed.

don’t go with non-Toyota groups. Guess that’s where my bitterness comes from.

Everyone from TW or the local FB Toyota groips are fun to go with.
