It came out pretty decent and seems like it’ll do the job well. Time will tell I guess.

For the first time ever, I put a front plate on. I think I’m going to add some 1.25” spacers and widen the stance just a hair. Full skids including the gas tank go on tomorrow.

After slightly hammering and applying some brute strength, I got th f@#king thing mounted lol. For how easy and simple it was supposed to be, of course it wasn't for me. Story of my life. :D

Now to take it back off and repaint a few things :burp:

Hopefully cleaning my engine this weekend because of the small oil leak.
I also hope to install my new passenger fender.

Part numbers for the hose and clamp that I replaced:

Pulled plugs from my new to me 2007 Tacoma with 205,000 miles. The coil pack shafts on passenger side had oil on them, driver side were totally dry. All 6 plugs were in there really tight and I am guessing they are the original plugs. I cleaned throttle body, it had lots grime. Sprayed MAF sensor with the MAF sensor cleaner. Was about to install new plugs when thunderstorms commenced. I'll get them in today. Hoping to see better fuel efficiency when I'm done.20210617_195146.jpg 20210617_194818.jpg

Oil on the plugs means you need valve cover gaskets.

Switching to a single Jerry can holder made by Motometal for my trip in August to make room for my Worthington 6 gal propane tank on the swing out. I ordered it during a labor day sale and painted her up yesterday. Decided to add some edge guard I had left over from cutting my fenders. Really helps with the rattle and will keep from dinging them up I expect..
