This guy came by this morning, he said $3,900 for shingles

He's $1,000 cheaper than the first guy

 

do you have just a plain gable roof?

For the most part, the front porch has to be done around then the laundry room is on a different angle.

 

Supplies to do a Roof are down right crazy.

The other thing once the roof comes off and you find more damage underneath then add another couple thousand.

I voted for shingles long Term metal roofs after time seem to leak at the nails or screws it seems the gaskets break down from the sun at least the ones on my shed.

 

Take a ride up next time we are due for heavy rain listen for yourself.

It depends on insulation but it rains so hard I think about putting in ear plugs and that is in my living area.

 

I knew of a Body Shop that was using the company Labor and Supplies to do side jobs without the owners knowledge.

The owner being out of state Seems the Shop manager was charged and ended up in the concrete motel for a few years and might look forward to a new career in the fast food industry .

 

Modern roofs don't use exposed fasteners... this isn't a problem any more.

 

That price sounds more inline with current costs of $390 a Square for a basic gable roof and maybe a few pipe boots and some flashing...

 

Here's a couple pictures. The small chimney on the right in the second photo, I've ask for it to be knocked down below the roof and patched. We don't use either of them and that's less place for a leak.

 

That's a roofers dream right there two small valleys and that little hip roof thats easy money there....

 

Yeah they could be done in a day or less.

 

Looks like you have some new development across the street find some of those dudes they will knock it out....

 

Lot of new developing going on around our parts, I may go ask some of them to look at it
