My grandfather always said what you do is a reflection of who you are to people who don't know you. Do it right or go home.

I wouldn't use the PlastX on it until you notice that it needs it. The new ones will have the UV protection....just like the OEs did when they were new.

The 1st signs of hazing....then whip it out

Well....rig didn't get cleaned. But Mama's ride got it. I guess after bustin' bugs and 2 knuckleheads in the back eating in it for 850 miles.....it needed it.

And Mark @Sig45 you'll need to check the algorithm on this and make sure it doesn’t disqualify my stock status (I believe it has some sort of immunity under the "spouse's vehicle" clause).

Her phone's pop-socket doesn't really make it compatible with her phone mount. But she forces it in there anyway. No more. She finally broke it.

Picked up an actual Pop-socket phone holder at Best Buy. She's happy.

Have you thought about putting clear film on the headlight to protect it from future UV damage?

You're good. It's noted in the Executive Committee section of the by-laws.

    Section 4.6, paragraph 5, lines 3-4.

No UV damage on existing headlights. I'm replacing due to the DTRL melting the housing issue.

I used this before. Protection doesn't last long.

You have to follow the direction closely. If left on to long it's a bitch to remove.

If the new headlights are non Toyota then the chances of UV damage increases. So protection is a must.
