How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Mine was built on 5/18 and got the permanent VIN soon after that. It's only been a month and been delayed twice but only by a week. Supposed to be delivered between 6/18-6/24. I've bought little things for it and when it finally gets here, I have other things to get for it. Step bars so the wife can get in and a bed cover for starters.

Hope you get yours soon. I know the anticipation is horrible. lol

 

Where are you located? Mine was built 6/1 and I have the same delivery estimate of 6/18-6/21. I'm outside of Seattle. Might be nice so others that are waiting can try to get a better estimate from their build date to delivery based on where they live.

Yes, it's killing me and my brother cause he can't have my old one till I get my new one lol. I put my deposit down May 5th and the allocation we thought I snatched got snatched up by someone else so I had to wait til they found another which was on May 20th... build date is June 22nd so I'm getting very anxious!! I really wanna buy stuff for it but I'm waiting til I actually get it just in case something doesn't go right...

 

You have more patience than me. I have a huge stack of boxes in the garage full of parts ready to go on a truck I don't even own yet.

 

I bought a 2Lo mod before I even had an allocation!

 

I just bought wheels for mine yesterday. Hoping it doesn’t jinx me and the truck get delayed another month. Glad I’m not the only one buying things for my non existent truck though.

 

Mine was supposed to come in 06/23 but it got pushed back to 06/29 and after today to 07/02. So I'm dying of waiting now. I don't think anyone can estimate delivery on here. It's a toss up. It was built on 06/09

 

Lol, yeah. I have a few things saved and in carts waiting but nothing major and nothing purchased. Yet anyway hahaha

 

It took 8 weeks but I got mine!
It's going to krown to get rust proofed this Saturday. Got a bed mat and tonneau cover for it so far.
Ordered a bug deflector for it today.

Well I was able to find an exact build about 2 hours away.

Cancelled my build and bought my truck today

Will have it tomorrow

 

Ok so my dealership is horrible with communication but great with everything else. I paid the security deposit and requested this exact truck on 4/24/21:

Today I went over to their site and noticed this truck was marked with “in transit.” It’s the exact truck I asked for and I’m more than 50% sure it’s mine. I had no time today to call the manager, but my salesman was clueless when I shot him a text. I believe this is my truck simply because ALL of the Tacoma trucks that leave the distribution center come with a set of steps, premium floor mats, and the black badge overlays. This one listed on their site only comes with the power tailgate lock… just like I requested. I didn’t ask for any port options other than the power lock. What do y’all think? I’ll definitely be calling the sales manager tomorrow.

I am in Dallas, I think it was built last month some time, there were apparently transportations issues getting it to me...

Picked her up last night and couldn't be more stoked!

 

My truck (I have the VIN), was also listed on the dealer site. I'm sure they do it to get people to call so they can get them into a different truck. Ask your salesperson for the VIN on yours. He should be able to provide. Tell him you need it for insurance quotes if he's hesitant. It being on the website makes it hopeful that it's really in transit. Mine wasn't supposed to ship until July 1, although my salesperson hasn;t told me otherwise.

Interesting. I checked and mine was off as well. I wonder if the posting is automatically triggered by Toyota based on ship date, and if the dealership then needs to mark them as taken. If so, it’s probably a good sign that they are on their way.

 

They post all receiving inventory to their website, claimed or not.

Well I bailed on my build found one almost same spec 100 miles away and pulled trigger.
