Chain it to the frame, along with your expensive bicycle.

Did you install it yourself or have the dealership do it?

I remove my bed mat if I'm going to be parked for a long time and don't plan on using it. I've been considering a tonneau cover, but haven't decided on which one. Thinking Truxport, Lomax, or maybe MX4. You can always get a long bolt, a couple of large washers, and a nut to secure it through one of the existing bed holes. I find it easier to remove it when I don't need it though.

Couldn't a thief just unscrew the bolt and steal the bed mat?

I would think any their serious enough to steal a bed mat, will. They just need a tire iron to pry the tonneau cover back. Couple minutes and its gone.

Bolt and washer through the top, then a washer and nut on the bottom of the truck underneath the bed, but yes I suppose they could.

just get a Nissan mat and hack it to fit. I had one in the back of my Toyota for 25+ years and not a soul touched it. :)

Makes me glad I live where I do. Yeah, it's the middle of nowhere but... I could leave the keys in the ignition, doors unlocked and a flashing neon sign on the roof saying 'PLEASE STEAL ME' and it would get ignored...
