This thing looks like they took the Current Tacoma design and tweaked it slightly. I'm sure next Tacoma and 4Runner will look very similar to this.

And yes this is the final design. That's the TRD Pro. Other trims will obviously have different front ends. Order banks open pretty soon, prototyping is over.

Dude that was leaked from a dealer's meeting, on Tundras.com they even found the person and dealer that it came from. Yes that looks like a prototype but its very real.

Looks like they dug through the 4runner parts bin and stuck the whole thing in the microwave for 45 seconds. Must have been designed by the new college grads or interns with a Friday evening deadline.

Yeah but I wouldn't call a charger R/T your ordinary sedan that everyone and their mother is buying. That would be a kia or corolla.

Furthermore, that's just the base engine, the iforce max is most likely Hybrid and add another 100 hp/tq

I do get the desire for more HP though, but there is only so much they can do, it's a big truck and never gonna handle like a sports car.. As long as it gets a 0-60 of 5.0 or close I will be happy for those fun highway merges or smoking some other truck at a red light:D

Yep, just you. :rofl:Kidding, I'm sure it will sell, because of the Toyota badge on the front.

You guys are all gonna come around. This forum just shits on everything new haha. They nailed the styling. Tundras have looked like hot trash since gen 2, and it looks like they finally figured it out. Gas mileage and performance will still be garbagio tho...

Looks awesome. Love how they lowered the hood, looks like a land cruiser flattened profile. I hated the old tundras bulgy hood.

These photos don't do the video justice. I was able to watch it at my Dealership this morning and I think it looks far better than the screen grabs. No interior shots or specs have been given yet, and they didn't talk about the Hybrid powerplant but I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

They even glimpsed the new Sequoia Design :p:thumbsup:

I'd say this is inline with the direction the 4R and Taco have gone, too. I'm not a fan, but I wasn't a fan of the 3G Tacoma when it first came out either

I was standing next to a 2018 raptor at the dealer 5 min ago and it's a stunner compared to this

All I gotta say about the styling is this: People who are truly great at something, don’t typically walk around with a T-shirt that says “I’m awesome”.

Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.
The cheap plastic grills have to be the least expensive exterior surface on the entire truck (to manufacture, not what they sell the 'pro' grill for.) Perhaps that's why it's the whole front end.
