Have the Extang Solid Fold 2.0. Works really well for my needs! I will say though, the gap between the cover and the top of the tailgate leaks a hair if you're in a really powerful storm/car wash

    None... yet.
I just bought the Tyger T3. Really looking forward to seeing how it holds up. I was planning on spending four or five times as much and basically assumed anything in that price range would be completely worthless, but all the positive reviews here and on Amazon made me think, "eh, what the hell."

I'd been eyeing the bakflip mx4 or the extang solid fold 2.0, and was to the point where they were each in a shopping cart with my finger hovering over the "buy" button, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I rarely have anything of real value in the bed... or, I guess more accurately: anything I put in the back that's worth enough to justify a $1000 cover is too big to have the cover down in place. Plus I had a buddy recently lose a couple bags of tools after some asshole popped his aluminum/composite tonneau open with a crowbar or something, so that kind of shattered the "hard tonneaus are impenetrable" illusion I had.

So I'm going to give the Tyger a shot and see. Depending on how it holds up through a northeastern winter maybe I'll be moved to spring for a hard cover in the spring. For $230 or so, if it last a year or 18 months, I'll consider it a win.

Just got a extang solid fold 2.0. But one thing I notice with a cover road noise is a lot more.

    anyone else notice this?

How durable does the Trifecta 2.0 soft cover seem to be? Would you feel comfortable leaving stuff in the bed overnight, or would it be pretty easily sliced with a knife or razor?

I’ve got the Undercover Armor Flex. Researched forever and finally decided to go all the way. Worth every penny. Almost completely waterproof in a folding cover. Easy install.

I will also recommend going with Retrax. I went with the standard pro xr for extra security, the 300lb load limit, and the ability to add a bed rack from Uptop Overland. There will be a little bit of a lead time but it's a great cover, easy to install, and it's made in America. Sorry in advance for the crap picture. I've surprising haven't taken a good one yet

I've had a Diamondback for 5+ years on my DCLB. It's been a solid unit without any issues. I had it coated in Line-X and the coating hasn't degraded at all. It's sturdy and you can put a load on top of it. Having said that, I've never hauled anything on top of my cover.

It's also pretty easy to remove a panel, but if you regularly haul stuff taller than your bed, it would be better to go with a cover that's designed for that - like a rollup or folder.

I had a BAK Revolver X2 on my Sierra and it did not stand the test of time. At the end of owning my Sierra it was basically falling apart. I bought the Sierra in 2017 and sold it this past Feb so we are talking 4 years. The weather just destroyed the vinyl cover, all the joints between the aluminum slats started to telegraph through the vinyl. Eventually, every single joint started to look like the back side (not the smooth side) of black leather. I am sure if I owned it another year I'd be looking at aluminum instead of vinyl. Very disappointing, I paid $1000 for it. The two felt pieces that are underneath the aluminum slats both unglued from the slats which made it real fun to roll the cover open without pinching your fingers BAD. The clips to hold the roll all the way open both broke, so I had to use a bungee cord instead. It was not something I would buy again for even half the cost. Unfortunate because when it was new it was awesome. Functionally it was a great cover but I am glad I'm not owning it any longer than the 4 years I had it. Just want to post this here so others don't spend $1000 on one of these.

I had a Trifecta soft cover on my 2008 Tacoma TRD Sport for 7 years and will getting another for my 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport Premium soon when it comes in. Trifecta is very durable for the winters here in Canada. I recommend one.

I have a tuxedo lo pro. Love it so far but I've only had it a few months. I didn't want to go with a fold up because I want to be able to use the whole bed without taking it off.

How easy is the BAK flip MX4 to install? I’ve been looking at a ton of covers and I keep coming back to this one. Ive seen some videos but wanted to ask one of you that own one. Did you install it yourself? How easy is it and where to you install the drip tubing? Just curious where the tubing starts and where is drains out.

This is my Trifecta 2.0.I had it installed 2 months ago and still looks good after 5 car wash still intact. I paid 450.00 CDA which is probably 320.00 US for it.

I did install it myself… It’s a pretty easy and straightforward installation. I didn’t install the drain tubes because don’t really care if a little water gets in and didn’t want to do any drilling into the bed.

No drilling required as you have existing drains in the box. The cover came with hoses and adapters did it not. I would install them in case you want to load sensitive stuff that need to keep dry. Even with the drain holes in the box if you are parked on uneven ground the water could pool in areas of you box just saying.
