Not a happy guy.



He’s going back tomorrow for additional IV treatment. His fever is down but not as much as they wanted it. I just gave him his antibiotic (oral liquid) and ointment for his eyes.

he’s not thrilled to be sequestered from the other two in a bedroom.

hopefully we can lose the cone tomorrow and they can remove the IV catheter.

Poor guy, hope the additional treatments help to get him back on track.

Hope he gets well soon. He looked terribly hurting in the before vet picture. Yeah, he has a not very thrilled look now but at least better than this morning. Hope a good rest and he's much better tomorrow.

 

I took lots of pictures of the kitten today. My daughter named this one booger because of the spot on his nose. I suppose he don't care.
We got a little closer friends today. He let me touch his paw a few times. Ghost, Beanie Weanie and Friend they're usual selves. Even the old one eye stopped by. I suspect one eye is the father.

oh no not THE CONE!!! Sooo glad to see he is back, and partially agitated!!!

I fear the next time we take our Bella to the vet might be the last. She is 19, and just recently started to lose weight, though she eats, drinks, and poops like normal...but she is getting up there for a cat

 

Ollie is resting comfortably on a fleece in our bedroom. His eyes look better and he showed interest in a bit of kibble too. He goes back to the vet at 9am for additional IV treatments.
Hopefully he’ll be able to lose the catheter and cone tomorrow.

 

He has that 'I hate you' look now, but that will go away

 

Glad he’s improving although he doesn’t look super happy. A few years ago Suki got a crazy high fever and the vet had no idea what was causing it. They gave her IVs and it really helped bring her fever down. Thank god we got through that one!!!

Haven't been on in a couple of days so I just saw this. Hoping Ollie gets to feeling better real soon.

Bonnie took him back to the Vet this morning. He was resistant to getting in the carrier which is much more like himself, I had to back him in and then shut the gate. Bonnie texted me & said he was meowing nearly the entire ride which is what we'd expect from him. Total opposite from our two silent rides yesterday.
We're hoping that they are able to remove the IV catheter today so he doesn't need to wear the "cone of shame". He's very frustrated with that because he can't get comfy nor can he groom himself.

 

Get well Ollie STAT!!! We (me, Igloo and Peppa) are rooting for you to get well and in a hurry!

 

Sound asleep. He has a shoe fetish, but the first time I've seen this.

 

Maybe he got too big a whiff of that old sneaker and the smell knocked him out

 

Ghost is trusting enough of me to snoop around his injury. Not sure what to think, he's had this something going on for a long time. Months.
