Toyota hasn’t run out of versions of “expanded metal mesh” to turn into grilles.

The side profile HEAVILY resembles the new Sierra/Silverado in my opinion. The difference is that the Sierra's front end looks decent and the Tundra now has the worst looking front end of any truck in its class.

Honestly I think I like the Tundra side profile better. Guess I will wait for the refreshed grill.

I like the much more seamless integration of the TSS sensor at the bottom. Also suggests that it should still work pretty well even if the truck gets lifted some more. (Not that I'm sure Toyota will admit it).

I like the blacked out A pillar, that's a neat touch that I hope is on all Tundra's, not just the Pro.

I think we're all ignoring the lightbar in the grille as well. That's a neat touch that suggest Toyota is finally doing some more embracing of the aftermarket community. Hopefully it'll be much easier to upgrade that and not even have to do any wiring.

I'm also curious about the overall size of this truck. If it's smaller, bigger or similar to the previous Tundra, which was always on the larger side of the half ton spectrum.

As for the Sierra comparisons, I'm just glad the Tundra doesn't have the wacky looking wheel well openings the GMC Sports.

I thought retired people go to Highlander world when the wife Connie gets sick of the Tacoma shit. It rides rough and she can't listen to Richard Marx, Chicago or Wilson Phillips on that low fi head unit that comes standard in the tacoma

I’m interested in that lightbar as well. I wonder if it will come with a cover for when you are on road? Light bars are not approved for street use, in many locales, unless covered or off-road.

Wood grain with a multi function tailgate, the boomer special, said boomer is really hoping for a gas fill setup like the f150, maybe a gas door with derlin bushings in the pivot and a crotch cooler package

Toyota should have incorporated the clearance lights in to the light bar. There's alot going on with that grill.

What's with the trend of the flat light bar shaped foglights. I prefer the round foglights.

Edit those hood vents could be fitted with ditch lights

I’m interested in the other trim levels. I doubt I would ever consider a Tundra Pro.

None of the trims will matter if mpg is below 20.

Just get a wrap on your current truck. X2 on the Raptor. I need a V8 with a Whipple supercharger on it though. :burnrubber:

With the V6 there's a good chance of over 20mpg

Maybe downhill with the wind at your back. Toyota has done nothing for truck fuel economy they want truck reliability.

We’ll see. Tundra fans will definitely rejoice. If it’s 30mpg at 75mph, I’ll be impressed. Not holding my breath.
