Google is telling me a pressure treated 2"x4"x8' is 17lb ea. Payload capacity of 1150lb (~?) means you can carry 67.647 max in the bed. Also, thats a lot of weight at a weird angle on your tailgate, I'd rent a trailer. If you really dont want to rent a trailer, I'd do two loads of 50 ea (850lb ea) since you said it was 100miles away

I'd rent the Home Depot truck or rent a utility trailer, she'll be overweight if this in the bed and if it's a short box fuck that.

    Trailer.

Weight or no, 100 boards in the bed? Nah.

    A) Not enough space.

    B) the lumberyard is going to want to load you by forklift. And their stacks don't line up with your bed dimensions, refer back to point A.

Which popes, and with or without hats? Precise answers require precise questions.

Probably would be easier to have them cut in half, thirds, or put through a chipper. Hth.

Are they from a sawmill? If they are, they are probably still “green” and will be heavier than the lumber at the big box stores.

Most popes would find that disagreeable. Except for Formosus, maybe.

the weight will be further back so it may end up pushing the rear down and the front up more than it normally would.
