    he’s home and in much better shape. Fever is gone and he’s eating and being affectionate.

    still not out of the woods but moving in the right direction.

    goes back to vet tomorrow morning and if all goes well he’ll get the IV out and we’ll be able to remove the cone.

    That's a horrible idea. What time?
    I came home one cold winter day back in Michigan after about 12 hours of retail work, sat down and took my shoes off. A few minutes later he was laying behind / on top of them with one front leg in each shoe. Happy as a puppy in a a mud puddle.
