Took it to the dealer for the 5000 mile check up and tire rotation. Yes, I marked one of the tires to see if they actually rotated them. Was really surprised how empty the lot was. Three months ago we got a RAV4 for the wife and the whole lot was full. Today they had one new Tundra and no Tacos and the lot was only about 1/3rd full. Glad I bought mine back in December! Sorry no pics, who wants to see an empty parking lot.......

what’s funny about this, my wife took the truck to get the rack installed at Toyota. And this is how she parked to send me the picture once it was installed!

OEM heritage grill installed this evening. I know it’s not uncommon but it makes me happy.

Picked it up from the dealer- AFTER THEY PUT IN TWO NEW CYLINDER HEADS!

The “check engine” light kinda is actually a “change engine” light!
    Bad fuel injectors,

I use the fuzzy part of Velcro to hold down cables and such. Blends in well with our black interiors. Vacuums clean when cleaning.

I originally just had a 3M adhesive square, but the cable over time pulled away, so I just recently wrapped some small strips of 3M adhesive around the cable as well.

Got it back from the dealer, they adjusted the bed. looks better now. while i was there i got the bed lights, super easy to install took less than 30 minutes the hardest part was pulling the tailights off. i was afraid of breaking the clips but they are metal. also got my carplay adapter.

They’re on the 5th notch. With a 1/4 spacer on the drivers side.

Rides great. Its more stiff than factory but in a good way. It has less body roll and it’s not uncomfortable at all.

installed my AlphaRex NOVA in Alpha Black just now. At first thought the start up animation was kinda cheesy but now I think it’s kinda cool.

One thing that I think I screwed up on is the fact that there is a spare unused stock plug in the harness and my DRL’s don’t turn on on the first click anymore.

also gotta figure out how to align these lenses because my passenger side is up kinda high. Nothing too crazy though.

now just a matter of waiting until my AlphaRex PRO Tail Lights come in from back order and get them on too.

also started the chrome delete process. Got all badges covered with matte black and I got some new matte black sink alloy tailgate inserts.

I was bored so I went to Sargent Beach 90 miles south from Houston. Thought I'll go there before that Tropical storm hits.
Damn how disappointing. I got out to take these pics and was bombarded by a billion gnats, it stank like hell and the so called beach was littered with seaweed, trash and all the driftwood you ever wanted.
So I programed the map and went to Surfside Beach and went there and enjoyed my silly self.

Finally got around to installing a relay. Went with the trigger 4 bluetooth system, on the overland equipped plate w/ mt fluid reservoir relocation. Only using two channels right now, first is for the light bar (generic 20" single row), and a high voltage relay for the winch. Also relocated the booster antenna to a drop mount.

Got one of these on Amazon...
    Media_port_ext_Cable.jpg

Popped the media port out of the dash port - and plugged them together and pushed it under the center console area...
    TACO_MEDIA_Relo_01.jpg

AND... into the center console box. I hated it just hanging there on the front like that. So I relocated it to the center console area. Works great - AND as a bonus its out of the way... plus I added a 12v port to the center console box as well.
