So how's that work if you get a new driveshaft? Just keep rotating until you find the right combo?

 

Just align the zerks in the same orientation as previous and it should work fine. Like Drew said, mark everything with a paint pen and align the new like the old.

 

Simple enough - I can do that and still f' it up

 

Its more for when you rebuild the one youre gonna pull out. The flanged ends can only go on 2 ways, 180° from each other

Oh wow, did they hire the same design from GM’s HD line? Hopefully they refine it a bit, not a fan of that look at all

 

The all-day one day class is $1400/Jeep. I split it with a buddy. We started promptly at 08:15 and went almost to 5:00. They offer a couple standard programs, or if you want to cover specific stuff you can generally ask in advance depending on your level of experience. I plan to go back for some advanced rigging stuff when I have the time and blow money.

The day has finally come, Mobtown rock sliders I ordered on Christmas are arriving! Now I need to get them welded on. Any shops in southeastern Mass that you guys recommend? I usually take my truck to off-road elements, but they are booked out all the way to October.

Update, 1 hour in and my oldest managed to roll it... drifting down a paved driveway into the grass, wheels caught and he went for a ride. The thing cooks with those motors, it’s pretty nuts.

Yeah, he walked away fine otherwise I wouldn’t have posted it. He learned a valuable lesson about the relationship between traction, power and speed today.

 

And safety gear as well I would suppose..fortunately he's fine!!

 

Yeah... about that safety gear... never needed it before on the power wheel although a plan has been implemented now that we’ve quadrupled the speed
