I will add that I took some measurements before I started demo. I got 21” from hub center to wheel arch on all but front passenger where I got closer to 21.5”. These seem really low compared to what I have read so it just confirms my stock springs were probably sagging. After I get the new stuff on I’ll take some after measurements.

Bilstein 5100’s with ome 881 coils on lowest setting, JBA upper control arms, LCE header, 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeaks.
nice. So the bilstein 5100 with 880 coils set at 0” got me to 22.5”. So like an inch to an inch and a half of lift with 880 on 0”. I’m thinking of getting the 881 coils. I want like an inch more lift in front.

Stock rear with new ATS leaf springs and 5100’s with 880 coils on lowest setting and also 5100’s in rear too.

Thanks guys. Just got one leaf pack out. Had to cut the front bolt and use a BFH on the rear shackle. Busted my hand so I’m done for tonight. I’ll go after the second leaf tomorrow after work. Would you guys recommend installing the first leaf pack before I remove the other? Right now I have the driver side completely out but the passenger is still all bolted in. Can’t decide which way to go. My thought is doing one at a time might keep the axle from moving too much. Thanks.

I like the height on yours. I went with 881s just because I wanted Dakars and I didn’t want to have a massive rake. I’m still hoping I don’t regret the amount of lift. I like how low this truck is. I have a 79 F250 for those jobs that require massive ground clearance and 460 cubes! I have 30” to the bottom of the door.

Got the rear leafs installed. Not too much fun to do alone but I got it. Hopefully a couple hours tomorrow to get the rear buttoned up and swap out the front coils and struts and then I’ll get to enjoy the truck for a while.

Done! 25” hub to wheel arch on the back and 23” front. I bet when the Dakars settle it’ll be minimal rake. Haven’t driven it yet.

Sure, I’ll get one today. What specifically are you wanting to see?

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    Congratulations! Nice find.

Last year I had a case where I was following a dump truck on the interstate. A small rock flew out of a tire and hit the bug deflector and bounced over the roof missing the windshield.

Sometimes I think these bug deflectors help save windshields.

You can see the trim packer below the spring. It’s the silver part. The passenger side doesn’t have it.

Nice truck. I actually think that deflector looks good. I may need one to cover all the rock chips on that part of my hood. Thanks for the idea.
