I paid 42.5 OTD. Not sure how much tax is, but reverse engineer will get you the tax amount. Even though price is not negotiable, he did accept that as an OTD price.

Cali state sales tax is 7.25%, so even if your county doesn't add any extra your bare minimum total would be $43,458.77 on a total of $40,521... I agree im confused lol. Thats also excluding paper, fees etc.

Where are you looking? I am in NW GA, and I have seen several TRD OS SB in stock. Mostly black and gray.
I have been looking for a TRD Sport SB in blue, so I have been following local inventory close.

I'm guessing the guy lower the price just enough on his end for tax, paperwork, registration, etc so that I pay 42.5 out of the door.

Andagi808, Chaidell, Nymbus, name of dealers in Florida you purchased from ? There may be a cut off soon on 2021's, then 2022's.
I am going to purchase a 2022 TRD Off Rd Premium soon as they are available, order it.

Nymbus. They gave you 8.8% off MSRP ?
    We are in Florida often.
    Thanks

Just bought a 2021 SR5. Only new Tacoma in Houston metroplex that had the long bed. Dealer was not willing to negotiate much (sign of the times), but I did get a $1,500 discount because I had a Sam's card. They didn't like it, but did it.

The dealership I purchased my truck from is called Stadium Toyota in Tampa. I had a really great experience with them. The salesman I had was named Arthur. He was really great and was never pushy whatsoever when I was negotiating with him. He also kept me updated once a week while I waited for the truck to get there.

Yes 8% off MSRP. I purchased the the truck with the Premium package.

I spoke with many other dealerships here in FL and stadium Toyota beat all the other places price. It was about 200 mile drive from me but was totally worth it

Surprised you got a good deal from Stadium, they have never been competitive when I have shopped them.

I guess it really depends on who you get as a salesman also. I’m in Jacksonville and the three dealerships that I spoke with here didn’t come down much at all on the MSRP.

The 3 times I shopped them it was for TRD Pros (4runner, Tundras) and they wouldnt deal... ended up buying in Lakeland(Tundras) and Stuart(4runner) and got a 2500 each purchase.
I dont fool with salesmen, I email all the dealerships internet managers and make my offer.

Found one in the pipeline. 2021 TRD-Off Road, 4X4-DC. $1200-Tech Package, LED Running & Fog Lights, Black Emblem overlay, 5' Bed.
Bed Light and Bed Mat, 5" Oval Tube Steps, All Weather Floor Liner, Door Sill Protector, Apple Car Play w/Alexa, Sirius, etc.
    Traded my 2018 4WD-4Runner & $5535.00, Add T&T, OTD.
July 21 deliver. They will also swap the proportional brake controller over to the Tacoma.
Could we have a better deal somewhere ? Two other dealers in PA and OH, I spoke with, the same type unit, all pre-sold.

Our '04 Tacoma, 188K on the odo, V6, bullet proof, its not going anywhere. This was our 6th 4Runner since 2008, we will be towing a Flagstaff E-Pro 20' RV now, a pickup makes more sense.

Toyota has enough chips now, as I understand it. It is a matter of filling up the backorders. I had my heart on a 21 Voodoo Blue, but I am not paying MSRP or over it.
In 3 months we will be back to normal and 22s will be coming out. Lunar Rock Sport sounds good too.

Wouldn't be to sure about being back to "normal" in 3 months. I think its going to be a longggg time before you can walk on a lot and have multiple tacos to choose from.

I agree. Lost a little sleep Thursday night. That day, spent time on the phone, dealers are not trading anymore, don't think it is dog eat dog, but when some of them say,
MSRP only, it can work both ways, back end and front end. Appreciate all the feedback on this thread.

22 models will start shipping end of September? I would think Toyota will want to have as many 22 models out on the floor as possible when they go on sale.

It will not be long before supply catches up with demand. Toyota is in the business to make money not build collector items.

The price bubble will burst soon, once the 22 and the Tundra become full production.
