    An enjoyable Father's Day was had, hope likewise for all of you.

    Today Stitch goes into shop for his Billie 5100s, took before pics with tape measure for reference so I'll be able to post the difference. Should get him back Tuesday afternoon. The install is relatively quick but his alignment slot time is on Tuesday. They've got a few rigs queued up for alignment. The alignment is a requirement because the front shocks are being set to level the truck.

    Kristi has a dental appointment this morning, so I get to see what kinda trouble the grandkids and I can get into for a bit, then we'll take Stitch to the shop and Kristi will pick us up there so we can go down to base to get her retiree dependent ID renewed. On that note, I renewed my civil service ID last Monday and asked about my old school blue laminated retiree ID with "indefinite" expiration date, suspected it was being phased out with new base access ID rules going into effect 1 July. I was right, and they took "old blue" and replaced it with a CAC (Common Access Card). Kinda sad to have to let the old blue one go...feels like another piece of history trampled by technology. :(
    But I get the need to tighten up controls on base access, makes sense in our current world situation.

    So that's today's plan, I'm sure a commissary run will be thrown in after, Kristi genetally likes to stock up on a few things from there when she's on base and it's convenient. I should probably check the BX in case they might have some ammo, you never know.
