It's really not a big deal. I don't think the clips in the console can even break. I've had mine apart probably 15 times and I'm as gentle as a hammer

Did you have the dealer install it? If so how much was it installed?

Looks nice, I’ll never sell my taco, but thinking of adding a 4Runner to the garage, replacing the RDX. Thanks for the pics I’m digging the Venture version of the 4Runner.

    I got this:
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000904194171.html
Sure, shipping from China takes forever, but I'm happy I did it.
Just unplug the existing infotainment USB plug from the back of the head unit, plug this new one in, and run it inside the dash and center console, plug in your phone's USB cord, and run it out of the center console storage. There are pre-existing openings in the bottom, so no clips, drilling, or modifying of any kind.
I just left the old infotainment USB plug in the dash to fill the hole that would exists there.

    Openings beneath the felt:

No more dangling tampon string out of the dash!

Had a couple weeks off work and got sick so had to cancel my bigger vacation plans, so….. I’ve had some time to do some stuff on the truck. Changed all my red MESO trim from red to AG - much more subtle. Finally installed the MESO puddle pods switch, moved the BSM switch next to the parking sensor switch, makes more sense to have the sensors next to each other:notsure: got the MESO DIY stealth shifter ECT mod done, that way there was room for the puddle switch. I don’t use the ECT button as much now w/ the KDMAX tune:D had some extra D ring washers that I put on both sides of my coin holder, made it nice and snug so it doesn’t pull out when I open the lid:p mounted a knife and some stuff on the hexrack from @reymataco - nice work! The hooks can be used to hold things and could also be used as oh shit handles for the rear passengers:thumbsup:
Anyone know how to get rid of the bubble on the Qi charger?

As far as I know almost everywhere except that stretch on the Galveston Sea wall. I really don't know about the area around Corpus Christy. My friend went to Padre Island in his Silverado 2wd got stuck and it cost him $200 to get pulled out. Some guy pulls people out with his John Deer tractor. There signs that says 4wd only.

Here is a map of the Galveston area: GALVESTON.COM: RV Parks & Camping - Galveston, TX

On the Qi charger, I’m just curious are the only people with bubbles those that actually regularly used it? I tried it once and was disappointed and switched to wired and mine is perfect. Just wondering if it is an inherent design flaw.

Finally added the TRD skidplate. Was super easy to install once I acquired some ramps.

    Nothing yet

I did that one last week. I was surprised at how thick the aluminum was. No way its steel, i have ateel skids on my other truck and they are way heavier than this. Howevwr i wont worry about bashing a rock with this skid plate. Wish all of them were like this. Especially the plastic lunch tray they put under the gas tank.

Here's a decent video comparing a bunch of different exhausts: https://youtu.be/qzESQ3Zj4iI

Kind of surprisingly there is no TRD Pro in the mix there...

There is a TSB out to fix it if your dealer has it in stock and you are within the 36/36000 warranty. Some people on here have taken it apart and just glued the rubber back down.

Mine has bubbled and I have never used mine or even turned it on.

It’s a known design flaw. I rarely use mine but still got a bubble. It took 4 months and multiple calls to toyota for my dealer to get the parts to fix it, but I still haven’t scheduled it yet.

Go for it. We've got a TRDOR 4runner as well as the TRDOR Tacoma. I kinda like the 4runner better. :anonymous:

Got the fuel pump recall done today - 2 hours start to finish - pleasantly surprised! Like others have mentioned - the lot looked anemic - only one Tacoma and two Tundras. Now planning my tuning…
